An art app with everything from realistic oil painting tools to the truly weird and bizarre, such as Worm Pen, Pods, and more.
You will explore a different side of your artistic creativity, and have fun doing it!
• PAINT ON CANVAS •
This app features live-calculated brushes and strokes that interact in real time with the uniquely generated, non-repeating canvas texture.
• FINGERTIP = STROKE SIZE •
When you paint, the app measures how much of your finger is touching the screen and changes the stroke size accordingly.
There’s a huge difference between using just the corner of your fingertip and pressing down the whole fingerprint area!
A 2nd tool assigned to your finger will still use this feature, so don’t ignore it just because you have an Apple Pencil!
• LEFT-HANDED? •
Just swipe the toolbar over to the other side!
• PARAMETERS CAN BE CHANGED LIVE •
Use any buttons or controls to change/adjust color, size, force, simultaneously while painting.
• UNIVERSAL PURCHASE •
If you choose to buy the Pro upgrade, this one-time in-app purchase will unlock all Pro features in the app on all available platforms (iPad-iPhone-Mac)!
• METAL •
The engine is based on Metal, with 128-bit color and floating-point arithmetic.
• SWIFT •
The app was developed entirely using Swift (earlier versions used C++).
• APPLE PENCIL SUPPORT • FULL SCREEN PAINTING •
• DARK MODE • LANDSCAPE • PORTRAIT • WIDE COLOR •
• MULTIPLE LAYERS • PHOTO TRACING MODE (Pro feature) •

How much does Art of Weird cost?
Art of Weird has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 200.00 č.
I just wish, since this developer’s art apps aside from Chill Paint all work the exact same, that they were one app instead of many so you could combine all the weird fun brushes and just make one purchase instead of several for the same features. Still, even for the worm brush alone, it’s worth a download. It’s a lot like drawing with layers of foam and has such a unique funky texture. Highly recommend for experimentation and art block!
I love this art program!
I have 2 diffrent art programs on my ipad but same thing on my computer witch im alredy on! but its hard for me to draw on my computer and my drawing tablet but this is still one of the great art programs ive ever seen! also i cant spell that well on my computer so you might see some mistakes
Better than any drawing game
I love all the tools it gives you and if you scroll down and click on a color than it gives you beautiful choices so I recomend to buy this
Hotel Del incomplete
Really enjoy learning a new App to explore. I am eager to explore some of the extras!!!!
Bad
This is not vary cool I don’t like it
Needs instructions
For example, I import a picture, color over it, but then how do I delete the import but keep the coloring.
so cute!!!
If I'm to critique this in any way it'd be to add a color picker they're helpful!
Totally worth spending a couple bucks on the pro version!
One of my favorite drawing/painting applications on the iPad to date. I’ve tried literally almost every single kind in the App Store & this one is definitely in my top 5.
Different than other painting programs
I have several other paint programs, and I like this program because it's different. Some unique tools, keyboard integration, tool combos. The UI needs some getting used to but works well once understood. Geat addition to my tool set.
