Open to all forms of visual art, Artfol provides tools which give you full control of your Artfol experience; from customising your profile and gallery to resharing your favorite artwork! Users can engage in discussions on the Community tab, browse art from the Discover page and converse with others through private messaging.

Discoverability
• We are bringing back chronological feeds! Never miss when users post, as the posts on your feed will be kept in the order of when they were posted.
• Our algorithms are weighed on recentness, this means that every artist (both big and small) will have an equal chance of having their posts seen.
• Engage with the community; participating in challenges and answering questions are great ways to get exposure!
Community Challenges
• Browse existing challenges through the dedicated challenge tab
• Participate in existing challenges
• Start your own challenge, set a deadline and select winners once it is over
• Browse challenge submissions through the submission tab
Customisable Profiles
• Customise your gallery by selecting which artwork to show people when they first visit your profile!
• Upload your own profile picture and banner
• Choose a theme colour for your profile
• Write an intro which will show up below your username
• Choose to add a commission tab to show others you are open to commissions!
Groups
• Find and join communities of likeminded artists and individuals
• Create your own group to meet others with similar interests
• Participate in group challenges and events
• Start discussions and post art in a private space within Artfol
Resharing Art
• Reshare your favorite artwork from other artists!
• Users will be able to like the original artwork through reshares
Collections
• Categorize your own art into easy to view collections, such as comics, original characters or more
• Use collections to bookmark challenges, or save artwork from others
• Set your collections to private if you want to keep it to yourself, or public if you want to share it with others
• Choose to display your collections in either a single column layout or a double column layout
Post and Browse Text Posts
• Make text posts to interact with your followers
• Browse other text posts through the community tab
• Browse questions asked by the community through the question tab or ask your own questions
Non-Artist Accounts
• If you are not an artist but still would like to browse the app, make a non-artist account!
• Get access to all the content on the platform
• Have the ability to make text posts as well as comment on posts and reply to comments

Different Feed for Reshare
I really love the app! It has a great community and the layout is really pretty. I have a suggestion tho. I would love if on the main page where the post are displayed from the ones you follow could be divided into two sites. One just the “original” post from the artist and one site where you also see all the reshares. Because i absolutely love seeing all the reshares but sometimes I just want to see the content from the ones I follow. I wish there was like a switch or something. But i still love the app anyway!!
Good and Anti Ai-art
Firstly for just being in closed beta it already works like a charm and has many people on it.
People there are really wholesome and support each other
Another thing that’s good is there’s no Ai Art allowed so finally some hope that this site stays clear of in terms of text to image AI.

A lot of potential!
This app is almost like Instagram but with lots of cool extra features like being able to ask for critiques or the option to have an extra commission page on your profile. What I find a bit weird tho, is that you can‘t really see the number of likes a picture has and that you have to click on every picture that you want to like separately, instead of just being able to like while scrolling. I’d also find it cool if there were features where you could directly interact with the community like polls for example :)

Artfol hat enormes Potential, wenn man es lässt 🙏🏻 hier kann man viel mehr connections aufbauen und ohne den ungesunden Druck, Artwork genießen oder auch Teilen.

There are still many features to be added but I'm very excited to see this app get better and better!
It already has a very nice community and you feel actually seen if you're ready to interact with others.

Ich kann nicht mal ein Passwort schreiben egal ob es nur Zahlen oder Buchstaben sind, es funktioniert einfach nicht.
Refuses to open
This app is so cute and I enjoyed using it for a short amount of time, but now it just crashes whenever I open it. Reinstalled it and everything and it just won’t open :(
Better than Instagram
I love this app. The best thing is that there truly is no algorithm. Everything is sorted chronologically or can be searched with keywords. It resembles Tumblr a tiny bit, because you can share art with a comment, like tumblrs reblog function.
The devs fix the app constantly and react quickly to problems! It runs smoothly now, almost no crashes, everything is loading. The people on there are nice, the ages truly seem to range from teen to adult. The UI is intuitive. Your own page is customisable with your own art and colors, art can be sorted in folders. Soon, there will be a desktop version, too.
Geht leider nicht mehr
Eigentlich sehr schön, lässt sich aber seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr von mir öffnen. Auch nicht nach neu Installation.
Coole Idee aber es lädt nichts
Ich freue mich sehr über diese App! Leider lädt es bei mir kein einziges Bild. Erst wenn ich auf irgendeins anklicke, sehe ich es. Das ist ziemlich nervig und ich hoffe dass das Problem bald behoben wird! An meinem Internet liegt es nicht. :/
