Still good, but current optimized version no longer installs on iOS 10.
Fantastic, effortless...
Another awesome App from these guys, it's a must for any who likes Digital Painting. And as the other review States, keep it simple, and you will get fantastic Paintings from great Photos. Any of the Jixpix Apps are worthwhile imho..

I like this company and its apps, this is another great addition to my art folder. It does need more defined brush strokes though :(
Impressive
Never thought I would see something like that on iPad - software I used to find was quite "cropped". This one can turn even a bad photo into a good painting! It's awesome!
Simply good!
Complicated photos with lots of detail do not work as well as simple subjects.....for example. A vase of flowers. A single person. A close up. Simplicity is the secret with all painting whether electronic, or for real in the studio. Give me a piece of paper and some pencils or paints and and real brushes and I could knock spots of this app. Good effort though,but it's 'false' isn't it? Fake art,no skill needed, and no soul. Interesting though! But it's for idiots who can't take the trouble to learn how to draw and paint properly.....I can by the way!

Really like the canvas/linen options, only just purchased app so still work in progress. Looking very good so far.
Very good indeed
As with all jixipix apps, this does a great job. Selecting the right photos to use will produce the best results, as is the case for any photo manipulation app. Spending time learning the editing options will also give the best results, though they are very impressive straight out of the box (or whatever the digital download equivalent of a box is nowadays!).
Surprisingly poor
The results just look like a blurry version of the original with a colour shift - no real evidence of any brush strokes. There are far better painting simulation apps available.
Another beautiful app.
Once again the goods have been delivered. This is simplicity itself to use, with enough presets to choose from, plus any amount of individual control via sliders. You will be making your own presets in no time. Brilliantly realistic results with just a few clicks. A great addition to the Jixpix catalogue and well worth the price.
