Solid app
Maps well. Easy to use. Cannot change from calories to kilojoules.
This is a good app except that it doesn’t always save the activities.
I’ve been using Runkeeper for 10 years now and have a GO subscription. I love the variety of ways that you can use the app to suit however you’d like to track your workouts. Being able to choose between just pressing start and logging anything, or selecting a guided workout or even a training plan is great and has helped me stay committed. The functionality of the app has expanded a lot this past decade and I think the current version is the best yet. If you just want to track your runs or walks, the free version is great. If you want to delve deeper into stats, see your progress over time and/or have guided training plans, the subscription is worthwhile. I’ve used the guided workouts and the training plans and found them to be a big help in making progress with my running ability.
Love being told how far and fast I have am going so I can compete against myself. Great app whether you are starting out or a big competitor
Good app but temperamental with Garmin watches. Workouts from my marathon plan that I purchased on Runkeeper stopped syncing with my Garmin watch. This syncing issue appears to have been acknowledged by ASICS years ago. It’s disappointing as I was enjoying using the app but must cancel my membership as it’s unusable on my watch or without carrying my phone around on my run with me.
Every run I get going, fire up the RK app, then boom! Some ad blocking my run. I’m running trying to start my tracking…. It blocks the one thing I want to do. Would be great if these came up after my run when I have time to review, read, and take it in. They have sneaky ninja close buttons too. I can’t see it in the sun. I end up restarting the app to close it. So does my partner who believes they don’t have close buttons. How do I turn these in-app prompts off? 😠 Or make the option to dismiss super big. Otherwise the app is super good.
Generally great - only annoyance is that the weekly comparisons, the weeks start on Sunday rather than Monday 🤦♂️
It’s good
