Atlanta's Oakland Cemetery Reviews

Fantastic and relaxing tour

We knew there was more to Oakland Cemetery than we could see on our own. Indeed there was! We enjoyed hearing the stories of those buried there and the history of the site. Plus, we discovered gems like Tweet that we’d never have known about without the app. Great narration and directions. We’ll use this app again next time family comes to town.

Fun afternoon!

We've lived in Atlanta for years and were looking for new things to do. Oakland Cemetery is a hidden gem! It's a beautiful place to wander and enjoy the landscaping. And, doing a self-guided tour app worked well for us. We could take a leisurely stroll and turn the audio on and off when we wanted.

Favorite tour

We've done 3 tours by this company and so far this is our favorite. The cemetery is really peaceful and beautiful - it makes for a great afternoon. And this app is a lot like a guided tour, only you have the flexibility to go whenever you want.

Don't waste your money

Hardly any mention of hauntings--totally misleading. And the information they do have is so sparse, you'd be better off reading the Wikipedia article

Great tour apps

My wife and I just tried the Nashville walking tour yesterday and loved it. We'll be in Atlanta next month, and can't wait to try this tour. Just looking through all the photos in the app makes me anxious to visit -- good stories, too. Well worth the $3 already.
