The Audio Everywhere App enables you to pick from among numerous audio sources in venues such as gyms or sports bars that have the Audio Everywhere ExXtractor system. The audio is streamed over Wi-Fi so it does not burden your data plan. For TVs or other video sources, the Audio Everywhere system provides good lip sync. Users may choose to listen with a single earbud so that they can simultaneously socialize and hear the show or game. You can run the App in background mode so you can listen while you surf the Internet.

Needs a dedicated network
I got this to listen to TV at the gym, but evidently it needs a dedicated network. When I try to use it I get the message, “You must be connected to a AudioEverywhere Wifi network in order to enjoy the features from an AudioEverywhere venue.” My gym does not have that and the apps description did not indicate it had such a limitation. If it had, I would have known not to download it. I was looking for a alternative to Tunity, which hasn’t been reliable of late, but this is not it.

I still have times I need to restart my iPhone 10x since the app does not switch from other audio all the time. Need a restart for the app
