This is a good app to download for science experiments, though it could be better. I suggest that the dev should look at making a version of this with buttons to increase and decrease the frequency as well as the knobs/dials for more accurate and minute adjustments to the range and frequency whilst doing scientific experiments to record more variables. i rate it 4/5

This is handy for testing speakers & setting up PA Systems Got all the add ons It's worth it if you are using it for work The sweep function is great for nailing crossover frequencies

Exactly what is needed for tuning and time aligning sound systems. The programmable sine wave sweep is perfect for evaluating the acoustic response of a sound system in a room eg; finding frequency anomalies and modes.

Congratulations, you have broken the golden rule about customer relations. Misleading advertising saying the app is "free" when really it is NOT. Thanks for the "upgrade", which said would offer a new white noise module, while forgetting to mention that it is NOT FREE. What's worse is, you put the white noise module in the new version, but hidden like a trap, is a nasty little "feature" that tells you to pay "$0.99" (1 dollar) for an "upgrade" (hey I thought I was "upgrading" when downloading the update, you must think I'm stupid!!!). This is an unfortunate habit with a lot of iPhone Apps, being advertised as "free" when in fact they are just nagware, with some features disabled and telling the user they have to buy a PAID version. I'm sorry, but you've just lost me as a customer. *hits DELETE button*

I Customize Harley Davidson motorcycles for a living and a lot of them want high end stereo systems on them. So I use it with a few SMD tools and an Audio Control DM-RTA to adjust the DSP on the system for the best overall sound you could want. I bought 3 different ones. The Tone tester and the pink noise generator as well as the sweep tone generator. Love them all. They don’t time out or stop for any reason.

Great for a quick speaker test. Is the output voltage constant over 20-20k?

This is an amazing app especially when pursuing a career in audio engineering/music production
