My ATH-M50xBT2 does not connect to the app, despite bluetooth being turned on, device type set to headphones. Tried restarting phone, resetting headphones, resetting network settings, forgetting device, re-pairing device… nothing works, “Detection Failed”. I want to change equaliser and other settings. I can’t cause you can’t even develop something that works. This has been going on for well over a year now. I’m letting everyone around me know, both professionally and personally, to avoid your products.

Got a set of ATH-M50xBT, and nothing I try will make it connect. Unpair/pair: connection failure every time. Turn off and on (phone and headphones) and retry: FAIL

Why would you drop previously supported headphones on iOS 16??? It makes no sense and it took me literally half a year to work out why my headphones were no longer working with the app. EDIT: Now they have reinstated support for my headphones, but there was nothing said in the patch notes about it. I just happened to read the app description again, and they’ve removed the line saying that some headphones won’t work above iOS 14. I only tried to connect the app in the hope that there would be an EQ, but there isnt. Useless app.

Doesn’t work with my ath-anc900bt anymore after latest iOS update. Can’t connect to the headset to change anc modes.

This feature needs to be a permanent toggle that will not turn back on unless the user wants it. This feature is so dumb and if there is a default the default should be off. A workaround could pressing the Voice-Assist and Volume-Up to toggle Sidetone On & Off. Either, every time I access the app I have to check and I find it has turned itself back on. Fix this problem.

I have several pairs of Audio Technica Bluetooth headphones - including the ATH-DSR7BT and ATH-DSR9BT - and no e of them are supported with this app… or any other. The DSR 7BT and 9BT start off as good headphones - so they should at Australian $599 and $899 each (almost $1,500 collectively), but they are completely eclipsed by Sony’s 1000 series BT headphones, which aren’t as good as the DSR7BT or DSR9BT initially, but are completely transformed and achieve true greatness as a result of Sony’s wonderful app. I would rate Audio Technica’s app as minus ten (-10), if I could. Take note, Audio Technica - you are squandering the hard work of your headphone engineers, holding your company back and handing victory to Sony and others because of your unwillingness to develop a simple, effective app that all modern headphone users rightfully expect. You have let yourselves and your customers down. Sorry, but you deserve to fail. I look forward to reading that you’ve gone into receivership.

This app works once after I download it and that’s it, can’t find my connected earbuds.
