The post saying pride and prejudice isn’t read by anyone that is appropriate for the role. Well I listened and, it’s a play and it even has a reader for every role, not just a clear and concise voice to convey the literature but a play. Put 7 ppl in 7 sound rooms to blend like it on a sound board as is standard, then to mix them and with no audio track in the back is so much harder than doing so with music. Worth dling the app

I diddnt like it there were only really bad books and nothing about good for teens like there were no options do not buy
It’s good, but....
I like it a lot, because you don’t have to pay for the books as far as I know, but the readers are hella boring. Some of them sound so sad and depressed, like, at least change the tone of your voice!

I’ve been listening to and enjoying these books for years, but not so much recently. Every time I open the app it starts downloading ALL the books in my Library. Ridiculous! When I continue listening to a book it suddenly stops after a few minutes due to the downloading. Pausing is also an issue because the screen freezes. Fix this! How hard can that be?
Crashing issues
I’ve listen to the books for years without issue now I can’t listen to them anymore due to the app trying to constantly re downloading the stories and it freezes. When the app says all books are download it crashes in the first 3 minutes into a book it didn’t save where u left off at goes right back to the beginning after reopening it
Better than audible
100% better than audible no pressure to buy of have a monthly membership, better stories and it’s not owned by satanic pedofiles as far as I know. This may get mentioned on a YouTube or TikTok vid. Not bothered.
Pathetic
Absolute Pathetic app, I hate it so much. Only joking, like me your looking at what’s wrong with the app but there is nothing wrong. This app is easily a 4/5 only because some narrators are monotonous ❤️❤️ have fun
Surely this is a joke
Those chosen to narrate these books have obviously been selected from the general population in shopping centre car parks. It is ridiculous to expect people to want to continue listening to someone speaking in the manner that these narrators speak. If you have the opportunity listen to The first minute of crime and punishment by Dostoyevsky and you will understand why this must be a joke. I have listened to the beginning of eight books on this app and it doesn’t get any better ever in fact it mostly gets worse. Don’t waste your time until they get decent narrators
American accents are too strong
Sorry but I was hoping for a mix of accents such as Librivox has yet nothing but yanks way to hard to listen too
