I used to use a similar tool on my iPad and mac but wanted something to work on my iPhone. I tried AudioNote and it ticks all the boxes for me. I can record and make notes on a session and then at home open it on the iPad and fill in the notes. Copy and paste the result into other apps if required. This is just what I need to record meetings, record seminars etc. It seems to pick up a clear recording is some pretty big rooms as well as in a small office, and I don’t need to make loads of adjustments - it just works.
Space guzzler
Love this product but it take up so much of my memory despite file being stored in my Dropbox. I"m going to delete it as it now uses over 8gb of my 16 gb iPad. My Dropbox only uses 125 My of space. UNCANNY!
Great Note App - room for some improvements
Brilliant app, have been using this for some time now at University and also work. Still room for improvement, you can choose different text colours but not highlighter colours which would be really useful for data analysis / tagging. Better text input options would also be good, improved formatting / bullet points etc.
Worked well until last bug fix!!
I've used this app to record lecture notes and interviews. Recently I needed to transcribe interviews. But now wish I hadn't used this app as it keeps crashing whilst I am playing back!!! It is taking me at least 4 times as long to do the task!!!
Please sort it out ASAP as I had recommended this app to friends!!! Won't be doing so if the problem continues!!!!
Audinote is super for writing notes in church
This is an awesome tool and I love the way it helps to write notes in church. I never miss anything and the recording bit extends the use of this tool. Highly recommend.

This could revolutionise how effectively you work if you write or study.
It is mind blowing. I'm only just beginning to use it and imagine wistfully how much my earlier years struggle with note taking would've been transformed by the ability to log notes directly linked to the audio time frame in the way this allows.
Brilliant.....until....
This app was great, I used it for my first term to record all of my lectures and then for a short while in my work based phase. The one day I thought it'd be useful to go back over something from term one...and the thing had updated and wiped all of my recordings from both my device and the cloud! Total waste of time. I now use a surface pro and Microsoft one note.
