L’aurender est un serveur audio bien au dessus de ses concurrents, ce qui explique en partie son prix, mais quelques réserves sur l’application, et notamment sur l’affichage sur l’écran de l’appareil. Pourquoi, en plus de deux vuimetres et du titre, ne pas avoir le choix de choisir la pochette ? Allez un petit effort, notamment sur le nombre de morceaux dans une playlist, sur la sélection aléatoire qui en fait n’en est pas vraiment une puisqu’elle propose toujours les mêmes morceaux, et surtout sur l’affichage des pochettes, et l’application aura droit à 5 etoiles.

j'ai horreur de noter les applications qui changent souvent et pas seulement dans le bon sens, suivant les mises à jour. Pour le coup, celle-ci s'améliore vraiment. Toutefois il manque une application indispensable pour iPhone, une amélioration côté image où l'on pourrait visionner les livrets d'albums et pas seulement les couvertures recto, verso serait souhaitable et si pour finir, et le volume était réglable à partir de l'application ce serait le top. Excellente application rapide, exempt de bug, grande stabilité. Juste un reproche peut-être est la recherche rapide au sein d'un morceau qui n'est pas très pratique vu la largeur minime du barre graphe.

I regret my purchase of an ACS 10 because this software and the accompanying ACS Manager is an embarrassment. I expect the software for a $7000 device to be stable at a minimum. Others have already noted the poor interface and confusing features. That I can live with. The poor handling of metadata and lost edits is inexcusable. The utter inability to effectively move, copy, and delete content is inexcusable. A firmware update that corrupts the metadata file is inexcusable (ok, that one’s on the device firmware not on the software).

The Conductor App was very good for app. our first year of use. Then came the updates. I’m not sure what has happened but we can no longer stream properly. We can force it to stream after many tries, but it no longer automatically connects, etc. We contacted customer support. We’ve tried everything they’ve suggested but it still does not stream correctly. Aurender thought it was our Qobuz streaming service, but that was tested and it’s not the case. Then they thought it was our 1 GB internet service - but we hooked it up at a neighbor’s home some miles away who uses a different internet company and the issue remained. Aurender claims it is not their N100, but stated it was a software issue (Conductor App) but have been unable to fix it for months. At this point we feel abandoned by the company. Improper streaming, no support. Very disappointed.

As for the Conductor App: seems to under-utilize the iPad possibilities ... while it gets the job done I’d love to see the ability to access file metadata maybe even edit on the fly via the Conductor... or at least View it. Support has been great. I’ve contacted them 4 x in the past year for either questions or suggestions. They have always been responsive. A+ for support. DAC seems good. I haven’t done a side by side but no complaints. File management is poor. Can’t rename or delete music files on the hard drive with any ease. Can’t select a group of files to make changes to (such as part of an album or a rating). When you import music no meta data comes with it so my few thousand collection songs I am having to go back 1 by 1 to rate & catagorize. The plus side, however, is since this part of higher end system it’s making go through each song and I’m now rating songs differently because they sound so much better on my current system. I’m using an Aurender A10.

This app acts like it’s 40 years old. I can’t edit metadata, I can’t load a CD directly, it won’t even respond to the pause function. I’m so sorry I ever bought the A10. The company doesn’t respond to requests.
