Australian Fires. Bushfire Map

to search for a defined position, that is not your own! I want to what the situation is at my brother in laws position. No chance to select and flag his address on the Map. So this app is useless for me.

This is, sad enough, the only “bushfire-app” you can get as a backpacker. Thank you for setting your locale settings for worldwide users and not Australians only. ❤️

Settings are worse than a woman’s handbag.can’t opt to remove states from notifications or just target the area of the users care factor,can’t remove notifications that pop up.you get 136 notifications for back burning in a state I don’t live in yet you get the alerts.I doubt even a firefighter would bother with this app as they most likely have better options.rather sad this app could be so helpful and save my farm or my life/family if it was taken seriously by the computer geeks that get paid a tonne to make these programmes.tho once again another third party action thru government,easy way out to shift liability.for the record one star is required under duress.no stars is my true opinion and outstanding option of choice.I had this app active for 30minutes and this all was a waste of data.

If you live in Tasmania, don’t waste your time here. This app EXCLUDES TASMANIA.

The dunsborough/ eagle bay/ meelup fire has not been updated since 0753 this am. it is now 1035! surely this is not good enough for us, as residents!

I don’t know what I’m missing here but despite there being an emergency bushfire on the outskirts of perth that is increasing rapidly in size, it doesn’t show up on the map when I open this app. There are three water icons for other incidences but no indication of the giant fire currently at emergency levels. I certainly won’t be relying on this app in an emergency!

It’s ok if you’re happy to look at, a drawing of a flame on a map. Lacks relevant/any information. Despite the reply to previous feedback, this app is seriously lacking. In the past there was another app, that has since vanished. It was far superior. It never let me down. This one is no where near it. Disappointingly.... my wait continues. Where did Emergency Aus go? I’m guessing it was Apple on their throne again. Can’t have the people actually having information.

I think you need to change the name because it doesn’t just show where fires are, but it also shows floods and road closures

Not accurate enough and prone to misinformation.

It’s rainy for last 4 days in Sydney and this app is showing 25 fires around my places.
