Description
Australian Geology Travel Maps is a field app that displays the best available data from the government geological surveys in interactive maps created by Trilobite Solutions. It does not have any reliance on cell phone reception in the field, and uses GPS so your location is always marked on the map. Maps are downloaded to your phone when have an internet connection, and from that point on, you are independent of the internet.
The simple geology maps are rich with contextual data - including shaded relief, roads, towns, tracks, rivers, lakes, geographic names, indigenous land, national parks & provincial parks.
App development, system maintenance and user support is fully-funded by subscriptions - there is no in-app advertising and your data is absolutely PRIVATE.

Why is it trying to force me to get WA maps I’m in Victoria
When I fist go the app there was no 1 week trial I also got the vic gold map because that is where I am and can’t even run it because All th app wants me to do is buy the WA map too I don’t live or am I going to WA so why would I need that map and even if I do get that map is it just going to want me to buy another before it will even let me start using the app? Otherwise just sell the app for the price you want so u can actually use it.

Wish these tools were around 20 years ago when we were all using multiple tools in the field to do fieldwork. Hard copy printed maps with grid overlays, topo maps, some in wgs84, some in other grids, matching up by adding 160m east etc etc gps, note pad, batteries, spare batteries, laptop, spare battery for laptop etc. Then pulling it all together when you got back to the office/home hoping you hadn’t lost a note page or got water on your note pad and you hadn’t made an error on coords or confused the utm grid. For a Fieldy that’s been around, I really appreciate the effort on the app and the information provided in the associated guide. It’s also very cheap. Not sure what else reviewers expect from an app like this? Suits me out bush.

OutBackMac in WA. Using this App Currently & it works great. Very helpful on new & old tracks. Would be easier if I could display on Vehicle Screen (Car Play) while bumpy driving down tracks. Cheers TJ in WA
Great app
Been working fine up until recent update, crashes when saving pin drops. Not the best time for issues given it’s the start of the WA prospecting season. Edit** Bug fixed working perfectly again, thanks David
A must have
I’m aRelatively new player in the gold prospecting field, and if anyone needs the upper hand than this app is the way to go and after seeing the problems last week and thankfully it is now been rectified. There is a lot of people who rely on this app for their gold prospecting adventures as do I. Thank you , keep up the good work.
Bug fix done
The app has been down for some time however a bug fix update has come and everything seems okay I have increased my rating and recommended the app when it is working
App buggy keeps closing
Trying to use app, when I open the app it instantly closes and I am unable to use it at all. Deleted and reinstalled app, started working as intended. Re-downloaded WA tenements map which I had paid $17.95 for and the problem started again.
APP NEEDS FIX URGENTLY
Excellent tool … until this week! 🙄😡 To David Collins the Developer from one of your devotees… Your subscribers would appreciate a little communication regarding the present problem , cos put simply, we’re not getting the service we’ve paid for. And BTW, it’s peak gold prospecting season, if this app is not fixed asap, they’ll be some unfortunate lease transgressions , someone’s gonna get shot! blood on your hands, David Collins … lol
Crash ! Location
Was 100% into the app then out of the blue the the app would crash when pinning a location! All data gone by the time you scrolled response! Now every time you mark a new location the application crashes and has to be reloaded
