Description

"This has gone from a great app to an awesome app with the new update. Thanks for listening to our feedback and doing these changes." - Customer review
"Brilliant - fun way to learn Victorian cursive. I have been waiting for an app like this - a fun way teach Victorian Modern Cursive, an app my special needs son enjoys playing with and learns as he goes. He can even use a stylus to draw the letters and build the muscle memory in his hand, that can later be transferred to writing with a pencil or pen. All children will benefit from this app, presenting learning writing in an exciting format, great guides to help learn where to start and stop letters, and great celebration pages to keep them interested and rewarded. I like that you can use the word lists or make your own so then the app grows with the child into writing full words, not just letters. I think I will be trying it out with my son's spelling lists too and double benefit - writing and spelling. It is also great to be able to teach Aussie formats such as Victorian Modern Cursive.... Almost all the apps I have tried have been US based. Thanks FizzBrain! You are a star!" - Customer review
Kids love learning to write cursive - especially when they can use shaving cream, paint, and jello! "Australian Touch and Write: Victorian Unjoined Cursive" was developed by real classroom teachers. It recreates the fun and effective teaching strategy used in classrooms every day: learning writing with shaving cream, jello, finger paint, and more! "Australian Touch and Write" also allows you to create your own lists of names and words so that you can individualize the learning experience for your child! Note: This is an introduction to Victorian cursive letter writing - children will practice INDIVIDUAL cursive letters to achieve mastery, using Victorian Unjoined Cursive letters based on the "School Fonts" Victorian font.

Doesn’t work

NkRkAk on

Australia

We purchased this for our daughter & it doesn’t work. I have also tried to use it & it’s a complete waste of time

No go

Nandn1111 on

Total dud. Frustrating purchase. I cannot play along with the app. It possibly has a bug.

Great except for left handers

Mme Zed on

Australia

Great app, but completely useless to us as it doesn’t toggle for left and right handers. Left handers need to write slightly differently to right handers, and it’s a shame the app doesn’t accommodate this (particularly with stroke direction on some letters). Stroke direction for left and right handers is set in Victorian Cursive so it really should be included.

Not compatible please fix on

Australia

This app was once used daily by my kids, now I can't download it cause it's not compatible with my iPad 4. And it's a compulsory app for school, all the primary students use it. Please fix this issue. Thank you.

Near perfect

Jenny8519 on

Australia

It is almost perfect and my students love it. The only problem is in letter sounds the vowels are letter names. Please fix and it would be perfect.

Sounds

RRtch on

Australia

I am a reading teacher in a Victorian school so the script is perfect but we don't teach words using letter names. The app would be so much better if the voice over used the sounds instead. Also, a choice of food other than cupcakes would be good, perhaps healthy foods like following a carrot.

Love this app

The best Vic cursive app I have found! The kids love it!
