Terrible it does not work

Did not mean to purchase a subscription for Microsoft authenticator - very misleading and not a good app

I am deeply concerned about this app’s misleading nature. When searching for "Microsoft Authenticator" on the App Store, this app, called "Authenticator App," appears as the top result. The app's advertisement picture even says “Authenticator for Microsoft,” which led me to believe it was the official Microsoft Authenticator app. However, it’s not. I was misled into purchasing a yearly subscription for $39.99, thinking it was the legitimate Microsoft product. Now, I’m stuck with an app that doesn't meet my needs, and Apple has not refunded me… This is a clear case of deceptive marketing and unfair business practices. Microsoft and Apple should not be allowing this kind of fraud to happen in their stores. It’s frustrating that a simple search can lead to a scam, and I feel like I’ve been scammed out of my money without any recourse. Please avoid this app! Be cautious and don’t make the same mistake I did. It's unfortunate that this kind of misleading advertising is allowed to continue.

This is a thief app. They stole my $39.99. This is not the Microsoft Authenticator App. Fraud

Just want to get rid of this. Accidentally thought it was the legitimate Microsoft app. $42 and when I hit cancel, nothing happened. CAUTION!!!!

I did the same thing and accidentally purchased this very expensive app. So upset.

This set up/ adding account is very messed up and it is sending me in loops. Very frustrating!

You have a non-subscription free account that keeps demanding payment. Guess I’ll try someone else’s app.

The icon is intentionally made to look like Microsoft Authenticator. This app charges a fee to add accounts. Microsoft’s does not.
