Avalon EMR FAQ
Is Avalon EMR free?
Yes, Avalon EMR is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Avalon EMR legit?
🤔 The Avalon EMR app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I have tried logging in with the app for several weeks and it says my username and password are wrong, which they aren’t. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it several times to no avail. Support just keeps telling me I don’t have the updated version and to delete it and reinstall it which I have and still have the error, tell support and they just give me the same response. Not happy at all.
Server down
Gimme a break! CureMD server has been down for 6 days now and I can’t even log on to see patient’s chart anymore. My practice has been completely paralyzed for the last 6 days and had to turn away patients because I don’t have any records. I’m not sure if CureMD has been hacked. They have been sending same update via email every 6 hour or so without any progress. I’m really thinking about switching to another EMR once this issue has been resolved. Any big company or reputable company would not do this. It’s affecting my practice revenue and patient care. Can you imagine Amazon being shut down for 6 days? How can they do business like this?
App Crashes
App crashes when trying to change filter on appointment view. Un-installed app and reinstalled fixed the problem temporarily but is now crashing again, please fix/advise
Thanks
No capability to edit notes
This app lacks the most important feature: note editing. I see the most recent review is from 1y ago about this same topic, this is a common complain, so unclear if they pay any attention to user feedback.
So easy and intuitive
Thanks for recent updates that have made it so much more convenient.
Excellent
Appointment scheduling, charge capturing and ordering labs on the go is awesome, very user friendly app.
Schedule
Would like to schedule an appointments through Avalon and view documents
Work in progress
I really like the layout of the app but it needs a lot of work. A lot of difficulty signing in therefore the app needs the be deleted and redone loaded many times.
Very easy to access patient information, however there is no currently capability to write a follow up note with repopulated information. It would be nice for notes to have the same structure as online for easy access to write notes on the road.
A work in progress
Cure MD is always aspiring to be the best EMR.
This new app is no exception. Clean clear elegant layout that lets a busy doctor get the lay of the land, the overview of the practice workings in real time. This virtual sidekick allows me to see all my appointments, outstanding task; like labs, radiology and refills to review. I can complete all this on my iPhone without opening the PC. There is even a spot to write notes to myself. My only wish is the application for instant messaging to my staff to be implemented...soon
