Aviation Exam - EASA Reviews
Only missing dark mode
Questions are not appearing as much as from their competitors , but they stand up with their explanations and summaries of the information required for that chapter , which gives them, in my opinion the advantage quality wise, but other qb is worth to check beside Avex which is a must
Unfortunately not for LAPL UK
Maybe it’s Apple Store sorting but when I search LAPL, this is the first app, but isn’t for LAPL Uk. However, some of the questions are still very handy and valid , like interpreting TAF reports being similar to METAR reports… so 4 stars :)
Couldn’t have passed without it
This is by far the best learning tool I’ve used. The comments section contains both invaluable tips and sufficient banter to get you through.
H Faizi
Too much explanations which makes the subject more complicated.
Not for PPL
Might be my fault but I didn’t realise this app doesn’t cover the PPL - as a veteran pilot this might be obvious - but as a newbie I didn’t feel it was clearly stated till I did some digging on the website... Hope I can get a refund :/
Despite that the app seems amazing hence the mixed review. :)
Simply the Best
Aviationexam has made a huge effort in transforming their knowledge to the aviators and this effort must be highly appreciated.
Very good for content and updates. Accuracy, not sure.
I have BGS QB. My feeling about BGS is that the content is particularly accurate and impressive, but the update speed (perhaps due to a desire to record things as accurately as it can) seems to be lagging.
AvExam almost seems the other way.
I like it a lot but I’m not sure about the accuracy of some of the questions and/or answers. I’ve seen questions where comments have been made by subscribers (a feature that I really like) where they’ve challenged the question/answer, and AE have responded by saying things like, yes ok, we’ve changed the answer.
It’s important to get updated questions as EASA brings in new questions and so for that reason it’s a great tool and AvExam seems really proactive in getting these new questions online, but again, it might (I’m not saying it is, just that it “might’) occasionally be at the expense of accuracy of feedback etc.
Also, a big advantage is that it it usable offline. None of this pesky lag in between questions.
Overall I do really like it.
Top-App
This app is an amazing tool to practice and learning at the same time.... Let's fly...🚁
A320
I am trying to convert my FFA ATPL to EASA ATPL.
I bought Bristol books, questions bank and Bristol app but it was so hard and very difficult.
Aviation exam made the matter much easy to study and understand the informations .
Some thing nice and important , the explanation is short and useful plus no Internet connection required .
The direct and easy way to the EASA , worth ever penny you payed for.
Needs improving
After memorising all the questions I feel like more questions are required, especially in ops.
