Aviator Assistant: Weather EFB

App was great when it worked but after a few days they force you to pay a subscription. Plenty of other apps have the same info for free. Way overpriced too.

Pointed out some issues to developers vis e-mail and trying to call. Not getting responses like we used to. They used to respond within a day or 2 but so fat it’s been over a week. No response. Looking online, support is not as accessible as they were at one time. Beginning to wonder what is happening. As a CFI I can not refer students to an app that support us hard to get to.

Have you tried Aviator Assistant—lately? Lots of upgrades and a GREAT intuitive feel. Stop spending a fortune with other companies that didn’t really earn your business. Aviator Assistant has become so awesome from actually listening to pilots, flight instructors, flight schools, and anyone that had valuable suggestions on what the general aviation industry needs. Have had Aviator Assistant for a couple of years now. You owe it to yourself to try it!

Aviator Assistant is a top-notch aviation navigation app. It offers an impressive set of features, including flight plans, track recording, weather radar, ADS-B traffic, electronic logbook, VFR charts, and IFR capabilities (plus much more). What really sets it apart is its cross-platform compatibility, working seamlessly on Android and iPhone. The developers behind Aviator Assistant are exceptional. I had the opportunity to meet them at Sun 'n' Fun, and they even invited me for lunch on a separate occasion. Their responsiveness and dedication is outstanding. They very quickly address issues and release updates with new features and bug fixes. This is now my go-to app for all my aviation needs. It's a comprehensive solution that's affordable compared to others on the app stores. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable and feature-rich EFB.

Took my iPhone battery from 95% to 25% in two hours while in the background. Several functions also freeze the iPhone. Not reliable.

Wow! Saw this EFB at Sun n’ Fun this past week. Got to meet the guys who made it happen and they were so helpful! I downloaded the 30 day trial and it’s only been 3 days, and i already subscribed. Worth every penny. I’ve been comparing it to other EFBs on the market and non are really comparable when it come to the product, the price and the support team. I emailed them and they walked me though all my questions. I can’t wait to see what they bring next to the already awesome app.

I’m a CFI. When I click “Take Photo” to submit my license, the app crashes.

The team behind this well thought out app has created a real winner, and provided the commercial and GA aviation community with another option when it comes to weather, winds aloft, airport info, and a host of other details. Their communication is first rate as well. If you’re flying for the $100 burger or simply looking to family in the old Piper, you can do worse, but you won’t do much better than having what truly has felt and behaved like an Aviator’s Assistant.
