Not very comfortable

The application does its job but the interface and the monthly view by default are not comfortable or attractive. In some cases I still prefer to use iCalendar because of its cleanness and comfort.

No customer service

I like this calendar but I’m disappointed with customer service/Support. My ipad does not sync my notes I do on my phone or vise versa, I have emailed them multiple emails and no answer whatsoever none, it’s frustrating. I am going to see if there is another calendar because this is important to me as I am a freelancer.

Don’t love it anymore

Stopped syncing between my iphone and ipad. Fairly useless at this point. Customer service is non existent. Is this because I didn’t upgrade to Awesome 2? I previewed it and didn’t like it.

Fell out of love with it

Used to absolutely over this calendar - seeing events and notes on the whole month at a time, color coded as I chose. But now am very unhappy. It has been deleting my past events on its own. Several months from last year have very little left on them, including work schedule and appointments. But not all of them, so it makes no sense. When I try to put them back it will take a few and then they disappear again. Yunasoft tried telling me it was a sync problem, but it only was having issue for several months in the past and current things sync just fine. Then they passed the buck saying I had to contact Apple. To top it off, I just got a Samsung phone and now they say the Android version is no longer available, so I won't be able to have it with me unless I also carry my iPod or iPad. Boooo! Update 2024: I have iPhone now and it had been working pretty well for quite some time. Then all of a sudden it took away almost every event. They were still on my iPad, just not the phone. Yunasoft was NO help, just a form response. I finally got the events back on my own, but they are all green on the phone no matter what color they are on the iPad. Again, Yunasoft just gives a stock answer that they will get back with me, but they don’t. It really is frustrating when developers just put something out there without any follow-up!

Great Calendar with a few Glitches

It would be great to limit Holidays to Just the ones we want so the calendar doesn’t get cluttered with entries when scheduling. I hate your calendar system supposedly for the US. Let us choose what we want! Most of them we don’t even know what they are and you apparently know either.

Us Holidays

Why does awesome calendar insert strange Hollidays on the calendar that says “read only” and cannot be deleted. For example there is one today March 25 that says Holi. What is that? It appears to be an effort to push a certain type of religion. This is not a legal US holiday and I should be able to free up space on my calendar by not having different holidays observed in other countries

Best Calendar

Best calendar around. I love being able to do different colors. Everyone in the family has a different color so i can easily keep track of everyone’s schedule.

Many Glitches

I’ve had this app for years, lately some of my events will not open when I tap on them, & the calendar disappears and I’m back at my home screen. Difficult to add invitees. I can’t keep using this app as it’s very unpredictable.

Allow FULL ACCESS!

After the recent update you need to allow full access when you open Awesome Cal. If you choose “Add Events Only” your calendar will appear empty of all events. You can change this in the settings on your phone if you chose the wrong one like I did.

Lost all data

Used to love this app. Used to recommend it to others. Now I’ve lost all my data and all my calendars.
