Published by: AMZN Mobile

Description

The AWS Console Mobile Application, provided by Amazon Web Services, lets you view and manage a select set of resources and receive push notifications to stay informed and connected with your AWS resources while on-the-go.
The Console Mobile Application allows you to configure and receive push notifications for AWS services, monitor resources through a dedicated dashboard, and view configuration details, metrics, and alarms for select AWS services. The Dashboard provides permitted users with an overview of the account status, with real-time data on Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Health Dashboard, AWS Billing and Cost Management, and Recently Visited Services. You can view ongoing issues and follow through to the relevant CloudWatch alarm screen for a detailed view with graphs and configuration options. In addition, you can check on the status of specific AWS services, view detailed resource screens, and perform select actions.
The Console Mobile Application requires an existing AWS account. Upon initial setup, the Console Mobile Application lets you stay signed in to multiple identities at once. Login process leverages biometric authentication (on supported devices), making access to AWS resources simple and quick.
The Console Mobile Application supports Amazon API Gateway, AWS Artifact, AWS Backup, AWS Health Dashboard, AWS Organizations, Billing and Cost Management, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CloudShell, AWS CloudTrail, Amazon CloudWatch, CodeBuild, Code Commit, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline, Cognito, Control Tower, Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), EMR, Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS), Elastic Kubernetes Service, AWS Identity and Access Management, IAM Identity Center, IoT Core, AWS Lambda, Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), Amazon Route 53, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Secrets Manager, Security Hub, Amazon Simple Queue Service(SQS), Step Functions, Systems Manager, Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC).

AWS Console Reviews

Can’t reply to support tickets

Anders18 on

United Kingdom

Since AWS ONLY allows response to support tickets via the console and not via email. It’s a huge omission that you cannot reply via the app. It means you can’t send quick reply’s from any mobile device. Please add support to this app so we can reply to tickets without needing a full laptop.

User friendly AWS app

yahhsjwn on

United Kingdom

As an experienced Development Lead and AWS user for over a decade, I find AWS to be exceptionally user-friendly and client-focused, and this application is no exception. It allows for quick access to AWS functions, provides a clear and immediate view of costs, and offers easy alert configuration—all with the same level of convenience as the AWS website. Whether you’re a C-suite executive, developer, support staff, or anyone involved in managing AWS infrastructure, this tool is indispensable.

Select multiple and refresh

holy-heck on

United Kingdom

It’s a great app for quick access to resources, but two things would be useful: 1) to select multiple ec2 instances for action. I often start multiple machines at once and having to select each on individually is painful. 2) update the status of the instances. If I start an instance the status remains “stopped” and red until I exit the screen and come back. It’s a bit annoying to be starting machines and have to remember which ones you did because they all still show as stopped. Aside from those two niggles it’s good and I especially like that you can add a federated identity.

Why is session timeout so low?

Gnasher!! on

United Kingdom

It's good for keeping an eye on resource usage. However, the whole point of an app is convenience. I don't want to have to re-login after a day. If FaceID is enabled the session token should remain valid for months.

Doesn’t work with physical MFA key

george_47363856/7 on

United Kingdom

I access my AWS account using a YubiKey MFA device. This app doesn’t support logging in with a YubiKey. I get an error message saying the browser is unsupported.

Useless without FIDO2 2FA Support

luigivercotti on

United Kingdom

It’s been about two years and still no support for FIDO2 security keys. If you use these to protect your AWS accounts (and Amazon agrees you should) then this app becomes completely useless as you are officially not able to log in.

Buggy login

BadgerInnit on

United Kingdom

After using email, password, captcha the app does not progress past the language selection screen. Only the AWS logo, language drop-down and legal details can be seen, no buttons.

Broken

F.F.F.Fresh With A Capital F... on

United Kingdom

You can’t login if you have 2FA, it’s been like this for over a year. Plus you can’t use Lightsail so pointless really.

Great, but still no Lightsail support!?!

PaullyKent on

United Kingdom

Nice app that works most of the time (sometimes locking you out if you have 2FA) but there’s STILL no support for Lightsail. I’ve been asking for 2 years and will keep asking! UPDATE - a year on after writing this review… and still no Lightsail support.

I don't know what to use to log in with anymore

keudhaleiwufherlisugh on

United Kingdom

Lots of new updates and changes, but I don't know what to use to log in with anymore. Now they want three items : account#, login, and password. Before I just used login and password.
