S3 Manager for AWS S3 (Amazon Web Services’ Simple Storage Service) is the simplest way to connect to your S3 buckets and to upload, download and view files on your mobile device.
- View images, documents, and play videos and audio files
- Download files to your Photo library and to the Files app
- Upload files from your Photo library and from the Files app
- Upload multiple photos from your Photo library in parallel
- Save connections for easy access
- Connect to any S3-compatible service
A large number of file types can be viewed in the app:
- All standard image formats, plus many RAW camera formats
- Play video and audio files
- All document types supported by iOS can be previewed
You can connect to any S3-compatible storage service, including any that you run on-premise. All you need is the service’s URL to connect to, which you can enter in the connection settings.
To easily share a file, you can copy its URL with a tap of a button. For files that are not public, you can copy a unique URL that is valid for 24 hours.
Security features:
When you save a connection, S3 Manager stores the connection credentials in the device's Keychain, a secure storage with built-in encryption that is managed by the device's operating system (iOS). Your credentials never leave your device, and no other app on your device has access to them.
To further improve security, you can enable authentication to protect your saved connections from unauthorized access. When authentication is enabled, you are prompted to complete Touch ID (or Face ID, if available) when you open the app.

AWS S3 Manager FAQ
Is AWS S3 Manager free?
Yes, AWS S3 Manager is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is AWS S3 Manager legit?
🤔 The AWS S3 Manager app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Works perfectly fine for regular use, although I’m not able to get the s3-acceleration dual stack endpoint working.
I also wish you could full screen the video and pictures from the preview, sometimes I need to zoom in on a picture and don’t really want to download it to my device.
Well made simple app, no idea why its rated so low.
Unusable
I can’t preview any objects, save them, copy their URLs, etc.
I hope this is a bug, but be weary…
Works
Does exactly what it says it does.
Thank you for providing a valuable tool at a bargain price.
Almost what I want
It connects to my buckets, good.
I can download and push and list and create prefixes etc, good.
I can download files and see them in my “On my iPhone” section in files, ok.
I can’t browse my buckets in files. It looks like the integration for files is based on storing files in the apps documents section and then enabling file browsing.
What I need is an app that uses FileProvider extensions to browse my buckets in the Files app without having to download the files in the app that actually connects to s3. This is not that. For $1.99 maybe it’s probably good enough. Certainly cheaper than spending the time to build an app myself. But still not what I need.
iOS access to your S3 bucket
Thank you for this. This does what I wanted. It lets me browse my S3 bucket using IAM credentials to view, download, and upload files from my iOS device (iPhone) The speed is the same as I get on my computer and has more to do with the Amazon side than the app, I think.
It would rate a five if the uploads continued in the second plane, when you navigate away from the app to another one, and when navigating within the app to other folders. This way I wouldn’t have to wait and watch and keep my phone awake until the uploads complete.
Having to watch sure makes it feel like the uploads are taking a long time.
Thank you again for this useful S3 utility on iOS. For accessing an S3 bucket, it’s better than what Amazon themselves offer with Amazon Console.
Nice little app
Makes it simple to access my files on s3.
Works but not 100%
This works but it is very slow. Also I have trouble getting it to work with large videos over 8 minutes long. It just seems to timeout or something. That being said it works better than anything else that I’ve tried.
Did not work for video mp4 85mb
It just didn’t work for me.
Ugh... kinda useless
You can browse your online folders
You supposedly can upload (haven’t tried it yet) but can’t download. Hmm yeah, that’s about as useful as a paper weight
Great Little App
I’ve actually never written a review before but I really like this clean, smart little app. Solves a long standing issue of mine - getting files between my iOS devices and my AWS account. Thanks to the developer!
