There’s no need to fit in with fixed opening hours or be left hanging on the phone to make an appointment or to get the support you need.

Hand-picked network of healthcare professionals
Appointments are with qualified doctors and advanced nurse practitioners; experienced healthcare professionals handpicked by Doctor Care Anywhere. You can even choose whether you see a male or female clinician. All our clinicians are UK-registered with either the General Medical Council (GMC) or Nursing and Midwifery Council ( NMC). They are also specially trained in virtual consultation skills, ensuring that you receive the highest quality of care during your consultation.

See a clinician from anywhere
Booking appointments through the app couldn’t be easier. AXA Doctor at Hand
appointments are usually available within a few hours, and you can join from anywhere
in the world – at home or when you’re away.

Medical records at a touch
You will have a copy of your appointment notes uploaded directly to your patient record,
so you’ve got a reminder of the conversation you had with the clinician. Your full medical
notes can be sent to your NHS GP to make sure that everyone’s in the picture. Doctor-patient confidentiality is paramount. Your notes will be stored securely in your patient record.

AXA Doctor At Hand Reviews

Nightmare

FloveARThW on

United Kingdom

This app and the system behind it designed not to serve healthcare but collecting premiums. For last 2 months we have been constantly trying to activate accounts and add dependents.

Can’t even log into the app anymore. It keeps spinning and nothing happens.

Long login waiting time

Dommk8 on

Can’t even log in. Long waiting time and the app then crashes.

Utterly useless. Clown app. 🤡

AzureWiskers on

United Kingdom

Just constantly logs you out. Nags you to death to enrol in FaceID but then unenrolls you a day later, forcing you to login with your full username and password every, single, time. Truly an app built by clowns 🤡

No landscape display mode.

JC747 on

United Kingdom

The app has no landscape display mode, just portrait, rendering it very poor for iPads with keyboards. Such a basic failure - please rectify it immediately. Bear in mind that if your customers need to use an app to contact a doctor, they may be experiencing various physical difficulties - they do not want to faff about removing their iPad from its keyboard cover, risking dropping their tablet with no protection etc. If you want people to adjust to video appointments, you need to invest in the IT infrastructure to allow this to happen.

Awful app

NickA1985 on

United Kingdom

You have to log in with username and password every time you leave the app. Even if you set up a code or facial recognition. Also the app makes you select an issue from a list when booking an appointment and it rarely ever has the conditions I want to be seen for. V restrictive.

The bluetooth doesn’t work with my earbuds even when they work totally fine with other apps

areeb111 on

United Kingdom

For the last few times I have had to use the app for the appointments I am forced to use loudspeaker which I don’t prefer. Don’t have any option to force use the earbuds for the appointment

Always logs me out

Tazzhi on

United Kingdom

I enable face ID but every time i go on the app i’m logged out and it takes ages to log me back in

Truly mediocre health app option

CompleteB on

United Kingdom

1 logs you out constantly 2 clunky authentication 3 actively poor selection of medical professionals 4 selection doesn’t work most of the time 5 calls have to be taken through a phone line Just all around terrible. If you’re shopping around, avoid this. Even babylon is way better than this wreck. Edit: I hate this app. Forced regular updates. Login credentials every time, even after only a few days, in spite of setting up fingerprint ID. Is this why we’re paying through the nose for your service? What if the concern is important or urgent and A&E is not a viable option? Nothing but a dereliction of your responsibilities to your clientele. Not to mention the video call fails every time at both ends and forced the practitioner to call on the phone.
