Description

A useful mobile application designed especially for people with visual impairments or blindness. Using image analysis, the app can recognize photos and describe what can be seen in them. This allows users to gain a better understanding of their surroundings simply by taking a photo.
The app's ability to recognize and read text expands the independence of users with visual impairments, as they no longer rely on the help of others to obtain written information. This can be particularly helpful when it comes to reading restaurant menus, street signs, information on packaging, or other everyday items.
The combination of image description and text reading function makes the app a versatile tool that can provide support in everyday life. Using technologies such as computer vision and speech synthesis, the app provides a bridge to the sighted world and helps close the digital divide for people with visual impairments.
This app was developed as part of an assistive technology aimed at improving the quality of life of people with various disabilities. Through the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning, these applications can be further refined and adapted to users' specific needs to provide even greater levels of autonomy and accessibility.
