I end up on random versions of this aircraft. One week it will be a -800 and the next a round dial classic. I can feel prepared with this fabulous app.

B737 Cockpit Companion for iPad is a conversion of Bill Bulfer's B737 NG Cockpit Companion book series to an iPad app. It covers the NG, Classics, and the 737 MAX.
Since 1998, B737 Cockpit Companion has been a valued resource for airline pilots worldwide. It is a convenient accessible guide to systems, incorporating notes on functionality, "theory of operation", and Bill's extensive experience as a line pilot with a major US carrier.
B737 Cockpit Companion steps far beyond the "need to know" philosophy that is characteristic of modern systems training, and which frustrates many line pilots.
The app is much more than an "eBook." At its heart is a powerful database engine that allows a tremendous number of configuration options to be customized without forcing the user to wade through clutter: When you browse a control head, for instance, you will see only content related to that control head.
The app features a touch-based navigation scheme, so you can start with the top-level cockpit view, and find notes specific to the panel you deal with.
It also contains a number of reference options, so you can look up information without having to work through the control panels.
The major features include:
- Extensive coverage of the B737-600, -700, -800, -900, the BBJs, the 737 MAX, and the Classic EFIS/EIS.
- The complete text of the B737 NG Cockpit Companion print version--and more.

Of interest to students or prospective pilots, we also include:
- A sample Limitations function.
- A sample Master Minimum Equipment List, based on FAA Rev 55a.
- An ATA chapter database.
As with all products of this type, this program is for informational purposes only. Your FAA-approved company flight manual is the final authority as to the safe and correct operation of your airplane.
One optional in-app subscription, "Pro App", is available. This includes the text of FMC Guide, Bill Bulfer's book on the Flight Management System; and Quizzer. This is a convenient way of reviewing systems operation, and was written by Bill. Pro Pilot also includes a BITE CDU emulator and Airworthiness Directives. As we add new features, we will be adding them under Pro Pilot.

• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

Worth It!
I have had this app (and the book before it) for years. It is better than any airline manual in helping me understand the systems and easier to navigate. I have even used it on occasion during line ops to help solve some small issues, after referring to my company material first of course.
The Best!
This app has enabled me to keep up with the B 737 and extend my professional career as I am now an instructor for a Part 121 airline. Thanks Bill and CC folks for your creativity and wealth of knowledge. My suggestion would be if you can expand the information on the HGS in the CC app.

I have never reviewed and app. This one deserves the time and effort. It’s a must have for anyone operating the B737.
Excellent tool
Really helpful for study and learning the switchology. The price is steep which is okay with the amount of information available however to slap a monthly subscription on top of a 60 dollar price tag is greedy. One or the other.
Great app for learning!
Wonderful application for learning the 737 variants. As a pilot learning the aircraft I would like to suggest adding a “flow” trainer. Perhaps having the ability for a user to either add the interactive switches/settings to a list (so they can input their personal flows maybe make the switches highlight), or having the ability to draw overlays onto each layout. The application is awesome but I feel this would be a way to boost the value and learning potential.
Great Flight Safety Tool
I’m a contract pilot for a low utilization, private, BBJ. Cockpit Companion is a great study aid to help me review systems and limitations. I’ve recommended it several times to pilots on their way to a B-737 rating.
Stay out of politics!
You should stay out of politics when it comes to technical information. Your Aeroflot remarks in airline selection menu are uncalled for, and shows your immaturity and ignorance.

I found it to be an excellent resource when I had to go through my 737 training. Definitely recommend.
