Contraction Reviews

Only works correctly if you don’t leave the app

ashlynbailey on

United States

When timing contractions if you leave the app at all it stops the interval timer, so it isn’t correctly tracking your contractions. Thinking they’re closer together and saying to go to the hospital. So you still have to manually look at the time on when your last contraction was, and ignore the go to hospital pop up. Also stops the timer when leaving the app during kick counts

Stop asking me!

SarahtheBlueWhale on

I’ve used it 3 times for kick counts. It works. But it’s relentless with asking for a review…hoping it will stop asking me now lol. 5 stars minus 2 for coercion I guess!

Doesn’t keep intervals well

Katielizzzz on

United States

If you’re not sitting on the app exclusively (ie. using other apps between contractions) it doesn’t keep interval times correctly! It does keep the time each contractions occurred so you generally know how many minutes apart though! Just not to the second which would be nice.

Glitch

Not too bad of an app does it’s job but when contractions got closer for me and I was trying to time them I couldn’t start the timer very easily. It was like a glitch.

Good app for pregnant women

Stops after 2 min

Trying to time Braxton hicks and the app stops the counter at the 2 min mark.

Straightforward app

ProfVQuesada on

It’s a pretty solid app for what you need in a regular pregnancy. The one button start stop design, easy way to see how things are progressing over time, and nice music all work well. One thing that was not so great: the app had a hard time fitting on a small screen. You want a bigger screen than what the iPhone 5 / 1st gen SE iPhone has if you want the buttons to show up properly.
