The port to charge the monitor is garbage, the app is garbage and the price is ridiculous for what you get, NOT EVEN FREE is worth it 1 and half month in and the monitor never charged again, couldn’t be more disappointed!!!!! The app doesn’t connect!!! Omg what a mistake! There should be NO STAR!

Advanced setting feature is to set up your wifi to the device. It is poorly designed, as it is locked and they offer no help to troubleshoot this feature. You only have one way to enable camera to work with the app, and it’s with the reset button. If this button does not work, then you are no able to use the advanced setting in the app menu to set up any wifi connection. This is a waste of time, and sad considering it is a pricey product. This is terrible for Samsung standards. I wouldn’t buy this again or recommend anyone to buy if you can’t use the app, to go mobile on your phone.

The app does not work. It does not connect. It does not open all the settings. We have two cameras, but the charging port on the monitor broke within one year. So we wanted to use the app as an alternative option. The connection keeps failing, cannot use at all. Restarted, reopened multiple times. I do not recommend this product or the app. Although, the cameras has nice features, so I am disappointed that I cannot use them to view the room.

I tried reviving the camera I have since the monitor died a couple of years ago. I had this stored in my babies closet and though maybe I could re-download the app and get the camera to work. The app is completely useless and the camera never connected to WiFi. This was a gift and wish I had taken it back when it was given to us over 2 years ago. Guess I’ll just throw the camera away along with the useless monitor it came with. Samsung this was a huge disappointment of a product. Not even sure it’s on the market anymore I sure hope not!

Love the camera and monitor but the phone app is terrible with no way for technical support to help.

Surprised Samsung ever partnered with these folks. App is useless and no longer maintained. Has been two years since you can configure a camera. If you have the Samsung Babyview, just throw it away. It’s quite literally useless, along with this app.

Title really sums it up. This app hasn’t been updated in ages. It’s very slow, it drops connections, and it’s very limited in ability. I should be able to view the monitor in my child’s room quickly and easily, and do the same things the physical monitor does. I can’t with this app. I wouldn’t have purchased the Samsung baby monitor if I’d known the app was so bad and so poorly supported. They clearly don’t care about the app, so I urge you not to buy these camera so you don’t need to, either.

For anyone who says they don’t know how to operate you can do all the same functions on the app like if you want to move the camera angle swipe your finger on the video live feed and it’ll move same functions people read the user manual

This app is so basic it’s totally obsolete as a way to view/monitor your child. It lags horribly, there’s no way to use any of the camera features (lullaby’s, zoom, pan, nightlight, two way talk) and you have to leave the app open to be aware of anything going on, which also means constant white noise feedback. Considering this pairs with Samsung technology it’s totally disappointing. I don’t even think an update could fix this. It needs an overhaul.

Wow I have never written a review, but with how bad this app is you should just delete the app and have it to where it’s just a monitor. I’m sending my unit back and going with an Arlo baby!
