Backgammon+

I’m no master backgammon player by any stretch of the imagination. However I don’t believe the dice rolls in this game one bit. Play it long enough and you’ll see the patterns of it slow walking you when you have the advantage, or that in a close game, without fail, it’ll get the perfect rolls to put you behind or lock you in.

Good basic game. Nothing fancy, no in app purchases!

Boo! Not random. Evil. Villainous behavior. Devs should be forced to watch a Caillou marathon non-stop for a month.

Comp rolls many more doubles

This could be a great game but the dice rolls are not random regardless of what the developer states. I kept track over a 1 month period tracking rolls in a spreadsheet and clearly the probability of certain rolls are nowhere near what they should be. I played one game where the opponent rolled double 6 or 5/6 13 times in a row. As others have said the randomness is not very random. I am not sure what random engine the developers use but it needs to be tweaked.

Game is a joke. Clearly it uses bots to fill gaps when you want to play a live player. While I am sure the developer will claim it uses a random number generator for the rolls, the rolls are clearly weighted.

Great fun for any level of backgammon player or age. Simple and straightforward game play.

The dice rolls are ridiculous. It’s not random. The amount of doubles that come out at the last minute to change the outcome of the game are crazy. What is the purpose behind the algorithm that manipulates the game this way?

Increasing the difficulty should not make the rolls nearly impossible to beat. Increase the skill level, decrease the mistakes the opponent makes etc. If you just change the dice roll all you do is lower the win percentage, it’s not testing skill.
