I love playing backgammon. Tried the free version of this product and after playing several hundred games would not recommend. While the action of the pieces moving is great the rolls are totally biased in favour of the AI (computer). This is evidenced by the nearly consistent “perfect rolls” where pieces are not left exposed, high prevalence in rolling doubles, “targeted rolls” to get the human opponent out and rolled point imbalance (evidenced by pip count).
Agree with others. Previous scores deleted. System is now set up to fail. Don’t believe the dice are random. Colour of board too bright. Pse return to previous set-up. When I wrote to organisers, I got a stupid reply saying they didn’t have time to maintain the App but they obviously had time to change it in the 1st place. Doesn’t make sense.
The interface is now extremely clunky, awful!! Plus allowing the upgrade has WIPED my player profile & all my near-expert offline match statistics!! Who do you get to test upgrades? Certainly not anyone who actually plays it!!!
If you capture 2 from the computer it can continue to play even when it is obvious it shouldn’t be able too. Your set up to lose due the the fact it doesn’t seem to play by the same rules.

On Computer Hard, may the computer "swing" the dice occasionally?
On computer easy you can't lose, on computer expert you can't win. Don't get.....very frustrating and boring. There is no strategy here, it's all about unrealistic dice rolling.
I love the app, use it frequently, but it crashes when it's the computer's turn when 'collecting'; doesn't always happen but happens more often than not.
Just as well i never bought this game i am running os 9.3.5 since it up dated to ver 4.1 it is un playable it starts and you get to throw the dice 2 times and it crash,s every time pity as i liked playing with friends unless the bugs are fixed it a total waist of time as i would never buy another Ipad as they are glued to gether now days mac gear is not made to last now days
