BackpackWallet

Self-Custody Modern Banking

Published by: JXN

Description

Do you find it a pain to use all those difficult Web3 tools with words you've never seen before? Well, Backpack is here to help! Backpack is a magical defi experience that lets you transact with confidence. Buy, sell, and connect using all the modern tools without any of the nonsense words and headaches.
Onboard: Download the app and get started with our field guide. We built this automated guide to demonstrate how much more customer friendly the process of managing your own assets can be than traditional methods.
The default onboard path will create 3 familiar Personas; Spender, Planner, and Builder. These accounts organize your interactions with money into familiar paradigms.
Initially all 3 accounts are the same but with different names. We are building a foundation, each of these account types will begin to grow in their own direction as we release more features & products.
We have partnered with Wyre.io, Transak, and CFX Labs to enable funding through all common credit or debit cards. These services too will expand, you can expect Apple Pay and ACH transfers to become available in coming releases.
Design: Our design is based on the need for an app that is reasonably usable with only one hand. The unique orbital dial at the bottom of the screen allows you to slide your thumb around to rotate and navigate. The context buttons handle most of the on-screen actions and will change depending on what is selected and what is on the screen. The goal is to keep interactions consistently in one place and within reach.
Features: Backpack is built using web3 technologies: - Wallet Connect 2.0 (not backward compatible w/ WC 1.0 for usability reasons) - Trust Core (multi-asset wallets)
Privacy & Security: We provide best in class KYC and KYB customer experience.
Just think of Backpack as your one-stop shop for everything finance-related. And this is just the beginning – we have big plans to make Backpack even more powerful in the future.
