Awesome when it works.
Almost exactly the original. Played the first few games without any issue. Now it’s randomly forcing shut downs in game and losing my progress. Worth every penny when it works. Frustrating when it doesn’t.

I love the game, but on the commutes I’d love to completely mute the game (including clapping, sound effects etc) and listen to music while I play. I also hate that it lowers the volume of other apps.
You dont actually control any of the sound options, they reset once you exit the screen. They hitting is unresponsive about 1/10 batters wont swing when you tap. Theres no way to actually see where you’re pitching, the area the shadow goes is right under your finger so you cant see if youre throwing where you want. Not to mention it crashes about a third of the time that i boot it
I love the game but I’ll be in the 6th inning about to win and the game will crash.
Been waiting for this game to come out on mobile for way too long. Overall, very happy it’s back but disappointed with some of the execution. First and foremost the bugs are a big issue that are getting bad enough that I may just stop playing until they are fixed. 2 league games in a row where I played the entire game just for it to crash right at the end. Also, just like I’ve seen in a ton of other reviews please fix the sound; if all sound settings are off there shouldn’t be sound… Last thing, not sure why we couldn’t make it full screen? Lots of unnecessary black space. Final suggestion would be to add a brief tutorial option as a reminder for the nuances of the game those who haven’t played in over 20 years. Would happily upgrade my review once these bugs are addressed.
Was excited to play this game but it keeps kicking me out every time I click on the app. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading but nothing will work. PLEASE HELP OUT
The game is exactly how I remembered it, as it seems to be a direct port from the original PC version. You use your finger to tap in the strike zone for hitting and pitching, which is difficult due to the small screen size. Your finger often obstructs your ability to swing on time. Adding a swing button for batting and virtual joystick to select pitch location in the unused (black) space on the right side of the screen would be a huge improvement.
The game is sloooooow and impossible to figure out without instructions. What a scam
I was really excited for this initially being able to play backyard baseball wherever nostalgia in your pocket if you will, however I've been disappointed the screen is too small andI can't even hit the ball without it crashing. I'll come back and check if they fix it then change my review, I don't know it just seems they rushed it I know I'm not the only one having this problem
