Badger Notes Reviews

Prefer paper notes

Notes don't always get uploaded or will take forever to get scan results. The initial sign up process for this app is ridiculous

Useless!

Having read the reviews I wasn’t very optimistic about this app, and lo and behold, it’s crashed literally every time I’ve tried to use it. I haven’t even managed to set up an account! I’m having a high risk pregnancy and am under two different hospitals in different trusts so could really do with my notes being accessible. Very angry about the corner-cutting in maternity care here.

Issues with NHS log in

lovebeets on

United Kingdom

I’ve signed up to the app via NHS log in. The app has recently logged me out. Every time I go through the process of signing back in via NHS log in, the ‘log in successful’ page shuts down quickly and still hasn’t logged me into the app. I therefore can’t log back into the app at all to access my notes. Is there a bug fix for this? Also, it would be great to get notifications when new appointments or notes updates are added by medical staff. I only get notifications to remind me about appointments near to their date, which isn’t helpful for planning. I shouldn’t have to check the app every few days just to see if there is anything new on there.

Please publish lab results

adan42 on

Frustrating when you’re on edge because you keep having issues with high blood pressure and other stuff and you have blood and urine sent for test and nothing gets published in the app. You just have to wait for no one to call you to know it’s ok. Why not just publish the results. And when you do make it clear if normal or not. What is even the point to show me tests were done and not published. Like ever! And I had so many done lately with. O publishing data! Frustrating as hell!

Useless app

The app is not fit for its purpose. Or the purpose written in documents. The app is just a channel of collecting users data. In reality you better make sure you get in contact with your midwife by phone. Honestly people should not accepts this rubbish app and hospitals should stop pushing for it.

Test results won’t be updated

Some test results are there, some are not. It depends on the midwife.

Good idea but never works

I’ve had this app for both of my pregnancies and both times it’s been almost useless. It’s great that you can see your appointments on there. Information is almost never published. Out of all of my antenatal appointments, the recordings have been recorded once. I have no idea what’s going on in my pregnancy and the app is often down.

Please complete the maternity communication survey… NO

DangLuce on

United Kingdom

This app is useless, my appointments are never on it, and it doesn’t allow me to add my own appointments or updates. It doesn’t update me when test results are uploaded as I’d expect (though granted, not all have been uploaded correctly), and if I get one more notification asking me to complete the maternity communication survey… I’ve done it but it’s not even essential to my care! It’s purely for some group doing a bit of research! I know some of this will be down to my hospital not updating it, but I’d much rather just use the NHS app or keep my own records… it might save the NHS a heap of money instead of contracting out to another company.

Pointless bring back paper notes

jodes1603 on

Does not show all my appointments. The clinic codes (appointment location) don’t make sense. I’m carrying twins and over half way through my pregnancy and apparently no one can change it to twins. It still shows as a singleton pregnancy which is inaccurate information. Don’t see the point of having it if I cannot have access to everything to do with me and MY pregnancy as not all bloods/test results are visible. Overall useless. Bring back the “green notes”
