Unable to load map despite newest update saying it has fixed the issue

ND2 boat

Brought my ND2 boat and the auto pilot, had no issues setting it all up and with the latest update installed (V2.4.5) - all seems to be OK - great product

Dynamic Island.

Whilst I haven’t had a chance to test the new app yet I have noticed a problem with the icons on the left being covered by the iPhones Dynamic Island. Is this something that can be addressed? They just need moving over to the right very slightly.

Massive upgrade

FedupEs on

United Kingdom

Being one of many that couldn’t use the older version of the app, first and foremost I’m initially just happy it actually works now. Not only does it fully work on my iPhone the updates are extensive and have improved the whole overall experience 100 fold. From great new features such as action groups to under the hood improvements, it’s certainly better than the rating presently showing.

Works great

Been using this app since I bought my boat. It works fine on my iPhone and iPad. Although it has stopped working on my older iPad mini. Simple to save your spots then find new ones. Then load any saved ones back in. Very simple to use. I have used it extensively in France. I have also tested the new beta version (on a Samsung tablet) that is coming soon. It has better satellite connectivity…..you can save more spots than before and you can now create a list of actions to perform at the press of a button. Like you can on an RT4 and 7. For a fraction of the cost. Great work from ND.

A review from someone with no issues

Juifhuui on

United Kingdom

Many reviews tend to focus on app-related frustrations, understandably so. While I acknowledge people's concerns with customer service, it's important to note that some issues might be hardware-related rather than app-related. On a positive note, I've encountered no problems operating my boat through the app. Although there's room for simple improvements, and it can feel a bit clunky, the overall functionality meets my needs. Saving spots initially posed a challenge, but with alternative methods, it's smooth sailing now. TLDR: Some room for improvement, but it effectively serves its purpose without being overly complicated.

Not working

App did connect to my bait boat 1 but once turned off it will not reconnect when switched back on. Poor.
