I’ve had my account hacked twice, where my photos were changed. The first time this happened I was told it’s my fault and the ONLY way this could happen is if someone’s took my phone. When it happened again, they told me to just delete my account and make a new account….because you know clearly I am the problem. I also had 3 fake baklava accounts made on this application with people using my photos. One of the accounts was verified with a checkmark. So if you see a “verified” checkmark ✅ PLEASE BE AWARE it could be a fraudulent account. Every time this has happened they say the member has been permantely banned, but clearly not…they literally take zero accountability and just say “sorry”. Their security features are zbaleh 🗑️ Protect yourself and tread with caution when using Baklava. They do not take user safety seriously AT ALL and that in itself is problematic.

I am Christian and the majority of profiles I only see are Muslim ones? Why can’t we choose our religious preference that is a big dealbreaker for the majority of people on this app…Is it just to keep us on the app?

It’s not for marriage for sure. Some girls are actually working in world’s oldest profession. 🤦🏻‍♂️

This app is a huge waste of time due to its lack of filters. You can only filter by age range, nothing else. You’re stuck sifting through religions, ethnicities, and marital or child statuses that you’re not interested in. Who has time for that? Not me. What’s worse is their premium option is expensive and still doesn’t provide additional filters. There are way better apps out there.

Update: More fakes :) A lot of fakes on these apps, just go find someone irl.

The app is great and everything. However, I wish there was a filter option to only see specific people. For example, if I only want to see Christians, Muslim, etc.

Please please please remove the last seen how many hours ago feature!!

I want to thank everyone at Baklava team for helping me find my first Bosnian friend. She’s sweet and good listener, I chewed her ears off on the first date! Of course she had headache but she didn’t complain.

Terrible dating app. I can’t even open the app. As soon as I tap on the app, it closes itself. Now I can’t even delete my account because of that. Prior to this issue, every time I liked someone, the app crashed and closed itself. Not recommended at all.
