Needs dark mode and iPad support
Great music and service but REALLY needs iPad screen support and dark mode option.
Yes, Bandcamp is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Downloaded music doesn’t play in flight safe mode Needs a bit of work
Desperately needs a dark mode. It’s a standard feature now days and make Bandcamp feel dated.
Bandcamp is my go-to place to purchase music whether physically or digitally. There is one major quality of life feature that I think would make the experience better for app users: Ability to hide purchases from collection or even better a ‘favourite’ filter similar to Apple Music - thanks!
Great to have access to your collection and all that, but clicking links in the app will open your browser, not stay within the app. If you own sample packs, files cannot be excluded from the player’s “shuffle all” feature. Using shuffle all, if the first track picked at random is under some arbitrary time (2 seconds? Dunno), then all tracks in the queue “playback” for a fraction of a second, so album art in the player looks like you just won Solitare. Goodness knows what this must be doing to Bandcamp’s system. Still no dark mode after so many years. Avoid using in the dark
When opening bandcamp links from email, instagram, x, etc. it should open them natively in the app Also similar problem with bandcamp messages that are displayed in the app itself, it prefers to open a separate safari page when I’m already in the app itself, seems dumb
Given key part that this platform had been playing in the world of independent and DIY music, it is disheartening to see it fall apart. The platform hasn’t seen the continuous improvement that would make it free of bugs, let alone relevant. The editorial pieces are depressingly out of touch given the richness of choice that exists out there. It is clear that the new management doesn’t give a damn. Fortunately, credible alternatives are springing up that promise to deliver where Bandcamp has been failing for some time. Try Ampwall - no app yet, but it is an emergent and promising platform with much in their roadmap… unlike Bandcamp.
We use Bandcamp because it’s a great concept, and a much better way for artists to rightfully get paid. I would like to use Bandcamp a lot more than using Apple Music or Spotify but the app is just so poor. Make it more user friendly for Christ sake. Make it so we can categorise thing better.
The concept is great, 5 star etc. I buy all my DJ music from here but… the app used to work fine but now the tracks just stop playing after a few seconds and skip to the next! You cannot skip through them as they just start the next one. HELP!!!
My favourite dancing tune
