Information difficult to read

cbhfitrdchum on

Keeping the newspaper format looks good but it’s difficult to read. Please reformat information.

Awful technical support

Team7Pack on

App works fine until it doesn’t…and then you’re at the mercy of non-existent technical support with broken links and limited channels to communicate. Archaic technical support for both the app and the website

Update your app!

Lungbob on

I have read and enjoyed the full e-edition of the Bangkok Post for many years, but your IT department or the company you have contracted has not made necessary updates to be compatible with IOS 14.2. Please get them on the stick.

App crashes

Good content but the app lacks

alysonespinoza on

This app has one of the best designs that I have seen in periodicals. Unfortunately it also has bugs that make it quite annoying to use. The paragraphs are often cut off, missing the last line, the pages get "stuck" and often some articles don't even link up between the front page mode and the article mode. It's close, but detailed work is needed.

Not Free

JASON ZEIGLER on

This is a subscription based application, and does not read as such. It is also under free application. This seems to be one of the biggest issues with the app store. Listing items under free when they are not, and allowing developers to leave out vital information, such as subscription based.

Bangkok post

This app is free you pay for a year of downloads And you are Screwed! As in not being able to download until the next day Or more! I have told them about this problem months ago! And No Response ! How much trouble is it to just Download the paper each day?

Well Done

Buadhai on

The app is free, but the newspaper is not. But, when home delivery stopped in my area I was happy to get the online version of the Bangkok Post at about one third the cost of having the paper version delivered. The underlying application is well written and easy to use. You get facsimile pages of the entire newspaper, including the ads, the comics, the special features and even the classifieds. Navigation is a cinch. You can read articles either by expanding the text or opening them in a separate, nicely formatted reader window. Those who found navigation difficult probably didn't realize that a single tap on a page shows/hides the navigation buttons at the top. It's hard to imagine how this application could be improved. You get the look, if not the feel, of the print edition. Read the Post anywhere without having to worry about lighting or having the wind blow the pages around. One feature I especially appreciate is the ability to email an article. Email to your Instapaper account and you've got the article saved as long as you like for future reference. As I said, well done.

Nice idea, poor app

JohnsterE on

Very slow download of the data, app freeze when trying to zoom and very complicated interface, going back and forth between pages. At some point I got stuck in a page without any back option. Had to start all over.

Slow and Difficult

synbkk on

Confusing layout. Requires way to many steps just to find and download todays edition. Extremely slow download.
