Great update to an already impressive guide
This is a fabulously written, well organised, beautifully Illustrated guide to a wonderful city. Barcelona Unbound is not just a useful travel guide, but is also filled with fascinating, humorous, educational and entertaining information about the city and it's people.
Whether you are planning to travel to Barcelona, or just interested in
learning more about the city, I can thoroughly recommend Barcelona Unbound. It
has a well organised and simple navigation system makes finding
anything you may want easy and quick. It is packed with information
that is both entertaining and well written, making this app not just a
useful guide to getting around the city, but an endlessly fascinating
and inspiring travelling companion.
Inspirational travel guide
A user friendly guide with fascinating history and local information that the writers brought to life, inspiring many enjoyable visits and day trips. Living in Singapore, planning a trip to somewhere so faraway was made easy, the results were always inspirational.
I found myself transported to the city sights. My children spend hours looking through the guide happily.
Fantastic!
Works very well on my iPad & iPod Touch. I really like the writing style - easy and entertaining to read, really interesting background as well as practical and useful information. Excellent maps and stunning photos (esp on iPad) with very good navigation to access the real wealth of information. Much much better than more well known travel guides. You can tell the creators really love this city!
clear, concise and beautiful
Always had my doubts about travel guide apps, but this is straightforward to navigate, fast, clear, and full of inspiring photos. The organisation of the content is what makes it work, from the top sights to the links to relevant maps to the neighbourhood eating and drinking places - you can see that if you were on the spot you could instantly get the right advice and ideas in a couple of clicks. And then, wherever you want to read or see more background, you can choose to do so, and enjoy the witty and erudite writing. The authors have literally decades of experience writing top-ranking travel guide books to Europe, and it shows. Just downloaded the second update too, and it's lovely :-) Nice to see regular updates and the latest one is great!
