This app is horrendous. It’s shocking that a large company like Barnes and Noble would allow the release of an app that is so slow, glitchy, laggy and generally unreliable and ultimately unusable. It should not have passed the first round of UAT. When customers turn to the website on the browser instead of using the app, you know you’ve failed as a developer. Please fix this - your main competitor is still Amazon. I want to support B&N but you’re really testing my patience with this app. What are we even doing here???

Desperately needs an update to make the app run smoother. Is borderline unusable since it freezes or refuses to load your search results

I’ve been a Barnes & Noble Member for many years. I have used the app for a while but I noticed about 6 months ago or so, that I was logged out of my account in the app. I tried logging back in and it tries to load but repeatedly comes up with a an Error pop-up and unceremoniously takes me right back to the login screen. I have tried everything…deleting the Barnes & Noble app then reboot my iPhone, and re-download the app. I have even changed my password, did not fix the issue. I got the iPhone 16 Pro Max (an upgrade from the 12 Pro Max I was using). I absolutely LOVE my new iPhone and what it can do but I absolutely HATE the Barnes & Noble app, since there has been absolutely no way for me to login to my account via the app. Barnes & Noble - absolutely shame on you to have such a useless app that prior to this issue was absolutely wonderful. UPDATE the Barnes & Noble app with a fix to the inability to login!!! 🤬

Cannot log in. Keep loading.

The app works maybe 20% of the time. Or will constantly kick me out of the app, and when I sign back in I receive a notification that the cart is empty and sends me into a boot loop. I have deleted multiple times to see if that would fix the first but sadly it hasn’t. I pay you for a premium subscription and this is not a premium experience. You as a large corporation need to put funds into making a better app.

My daughter and I just put this app on my iPhone yesterday. It just freezes up and we can’t do anything on it. So far, it’s completely useless.

The app never works, constantly having issues signing in. It doesn’t recognize passwords, it does not do the Face ID well. It’s like the website and app do not communicate. Really disappointing, since the site advertises the app so heavily. Lazy

I only downloaded this app to make use of the wishlist and see any rewards I earn. The wishlist is bugged out as to be unusable. It will not let me type in anything to search for a specific book. If anything, it locks the keyboard in place so you can't even go back to a different tab. Then, when I look up the information for a book that I may be interested in, the screen freezes and locks up. I feel like I'm on dial-up with how slow it takes to get the book overviews to load up. B&N, you are a multimillion dollar company, you can afford to have a working app.

I can never log into the app. I have to always just go on the web browser to use my Barnes & Noble. It continuously logs you out and then tells you that you’re logged in and then kicks you right out.

As an avid book reader, this app would be so helpful. But the app doesn’t work well anymore. Its freezing, glitching, etc. they need to redo the app
