Surprising!
Pro: This app contains a very complete classic Basic language without-, or with line numbers and works fast and accurate. I only use it as a programmable calculator, so I have 'nt tested all its possibilities. 😏 Contra: - The "PRINT USING" command does not work on my iPhone 4; it shows blank lines. - In 'terminal mode' some output runs out of screen. - This app formats automatically the hierarchical structure when 'return' is pressed. But the cursor is not included. Inconvenient!

Worked once
This app worked once on my iPad 3. Since then it immediately shuts down when starting the app.
Very nice
Very nice programming app. However, it is a bit rough here and there. Some suggestions: include a bar on top of the virtual keyboard with cursor keys. (you already have half of this in console mode) Also the concept of functions would make this much more usable.
Basically great
Great app - nothing complicated, but works perfectly. Just the thing for doing bits of maths and logic ... ahhh it takes me back to the old schooldays ...
Just what I was looking for
Had been searching the app store for some time now for a programming environment, so I could doodle-code a bit on long trips, and hadn't found a satusfactory one yet. Either there were no debugging features or the editor was terrible. Basic! offers everything I want to create something on the go.
Just Wow
One of my first languages was basic. It helped launch me on the career I have today. This app brings back a lot of memories of sitting at night just coding up anything I could think about. This app is about as good as it gets for coding on IPad or IPhone. I use it one both. I have a python interpreter and a gui framework but, sometimes, I just want to code old school and this is the app that quenches my thirst!!
Does not work on iOS 14.4.2
Took my $4.00 but crashes moments after launch with no user interaction. Last copyright was 2019 — it is now May 2021. If the coder stopped developing and supporting the app, please stop taking people’s money and remove it from the App Store.
