When activated SOS mode goes to work – the main LED enters flashyBird mode blinking at 50 to 70 times a minute (meets USCG definition of visual distress signal); the loudBird (Horn) screams into action calling for help (105db meets USCG definition of audible distress signal); your current/last known location (internet dependent) is sent to Basin Boat Lighting, we notify the appropriate authorities and your listed emergency contact. The app can have medical information and, if indicated by you, those in route will have this info prior to arrival. This is the ultimate Safety Lighting System. It also offers weather access from your current location, full control of the Bird via iOS!
