Bat to Bed

don't fall

Published by: Brothers Make Games

Description

1 tap = 1 flap in this addicting "make it to the top" game.
just a cute, spooky, raging good time.
hand it to your friend and watch them suffer with rapturous glee.
we liked the IDEA of punishing platformers, but they all felt kinda... slow?
so we made this. it plays pretty quick, so you can regain your progress swiftly when you fall, and the levels are short enough to be casual and approachable for all.
it's also highly speedrunnable and replayable. medals, achievements and unlockable items abound for skilled players.
have fun!

Great Game

MyIpad777 on

Have gone from 4 stars to 5 stars as I don’t feel I can penalise the game because of my frustration and annoyance of falling down too far. Perseverance does pay off. I may never get a record time but finally managed to get through first two stages. Now eagerly waiting next stage(s). Although I think 6 minutes on Cave is not bad! Not so much 10 minutes on the Forest! As I said before have no issue with excellent graphics, ease of control of the character and playability. The fact that I’ve downloaded it then uninstalled multiple times shows how good it is (and addictive).

Great game, nicely challenging. But can you please remove the video ads or move where they come in. Game can be frustrating enough (in a good way) but when a video ad pops up as soon as you hit something it completely kills the flow of the game. Banner ad at the bottom is fine, maybe move the video one to when you start/finish a level?

Bug

There’s a bug that makes the game good it’s as soon as you download it and open the app that’s where the bug is. Don’t fix it though it’s all good. Oh for the people that say this is too hard try lifting yourself off the ground by sitting down and pulling your shirt up 👍

I’m addicted!

I don’t know how this game isn’t more popular, I just randomly found this app on the App Store and it’s incredible. The physics are great and satisfying and I love how speedrunning is emphasised. This has kept me extremely happy during long coach rides over my trip to Iceland I am currently taking. Now going to follow this games development closely with their devlog. It is very punishing and very difficult but I like the challenge. Sometimes I can fall from the very height of the map down the the frog again which isn’t too fun and that’s why it’s not 5 stars. Still haven’t beaten the game after many many hours, but I’m loving it either way! Keep going lads and don’t give up! If I had to give one piece of advice it would be to try to port this to PC if you haven’t already and get streamers playing it because thats where faudian games get their popularity.

Too hard!

I don’t know, I just find this game way to hard and punishing. Although I love the physics, there are just too many enemies on the screen to overcome. It’s just not for me.

Super fun, annoying ending

I really loved this game for the most part; I do not agree with the reviews saying the level design is too frustrating or the frog is too mean lol. Very fun and well-made overall. My only problem is that the ending “race” in level 2 is wayyyy harder than anything else in the game. Tbh it feels like the devs were out of content (which is fine, new levels are coming) but wanted to keep players in-app for ad money, so they stretched the last ~2 minutes of content into ~2 hours by making you replay it a couple hundred times. Perhaps the difficulty spike would feel more earned if anything prior was remotely close to that difficult. Playing thru the whole game up to the race took me ~40 minutes on first attempt, and the 2 minute race took me 2 hours lol. Now nothing in the game is remotely difficult to me except the race which is very hard. Great game overall tho, love how they built on the mechanics of flappy bird and jump king. Oh also the interstitial ad video is pretty cringe, totally agree w others on that.

United States

this game had such a good learning curve because i went from beating the first level in like 30 mins to having wr on level 2 (going for 1 soon) and idk if its just running the game thats helped this but level 2 is just so well made. looking back at level 1 its very clear on how much yall learned about the level design and it clearly shows!! cant wait for level 3!!!
