Battleheart Legacy+ Reviews

Simple, Challenging and rewarding

Wonderfully made RPG, for an I-phone, I don’t know how much more you could realistically add 😂. This game captures all the finest elements of any RPG - customizable character builds, skill trees, equipment, leveling system. Well balanced, nothing feels overwhelmingly OP, all upgrades seem to be beneficial. Gameplay - utilizes the auto battle mechanic well, and makes it simple and affective to manage your micro interactions easily. Well done 👏👏

Needlessly Tedious

My main frustration is with the combat, which can be surprisingly difficult, especially with enemy healers and the lack of permanent companions. If you want to succeed in this game, you really need to focus and be strategic, calculating stats and all that. I don’t get why they tried to emulate the difficulty of typical RPGs, when it could’ve been something fun and casual, maybe even for kids. There’s already so many intense RPGs out there, why does this need to be one too?

Please update

This game is so fun! I’ve played and beat it all the way through several times and it still hasn’t gotten old. There’s plenty of different classes to choose from, lots of different armor and weapons, and there’s a decent amount of stuff to do. I do wish it had an actual main story though, as of right now it just tells you to go find some crystals and then come back and give it to a guy (I’m not gonna say what happens at the end though because I don’t want to spoil it). If the developers put in some more missions though it would be honestly perfect. Also I’ve seen some complaints about movement, it’s not actually that bad and I haven’t had any issues but if other people have then I suggest just adding a joystick control option in the settings. Also, it doesn't feel complete without finishing the cartel mission line.

Great casual dungeon crawler

If you like games like Diablo, but your wife is afraid of the 1000 hour grind for it, get her to play this and get addicted to the dungeon crawler experience. It’s a great stepping stone to the more hardcore titles in the genre. This game is filled with comedy and fun quests and was made by someone who clearly understands what’s fun about RPGs. You’re rewarded with layered comedy for exploring side quests and dialogue with NPCs. The game pokes fun at the genre and doesn’t take itself too serious. It isn’t a game you’ll grind for 100s of hours looking for slightly better gear. It’s a game you’ll run through in a few days of consultant play and then want to create a new character to play again and make different decisions to unlock content lost to your first character build. First game you went max strength and focused two handed colossal weapons? Next okay through go for a mage! First play through you killed everyone you encountered? Next play through level your charisma and talk your way into (and out of) all kinds of trouble. Make another one with more depth in the future.

Too much grind, not enough value

Blaccdixk on

The game starts off good, pretty much until the halfway point, and then it reveals the trick: now you’re faced with not enough new areas to keep leveling up, but you’re too far invested to quit. Hope you enjoy grinding! To top it off, the four main bosses you’ll fight are also spammy, teleporty nonsense that will likely involve more grinding to overlevel. And if you die on the final boss, there’s no checkpoint, so you get to enjoy the Big Bad’s exposition dump monologue at the start of every attempt! Now you can finally enjoy, over and over and over, the cliche plot that everyone predicted five minutes into the game.

Well, I tried out crazy mode not knowing what it was, and honestly I think that people should respawn after turning it off. Thanks to this little thing, I couldn’t follow the monks path.

Cool game

Great nothing same bad, but could add a black guy character choice

One of my best.

I love this game, it has story line, congruent events, quests. Leveling! And classes! All great for an rpg. BUT. There is two things that are DIRELY missing. First. Weapons that need two different passives to equip. That way, their are even more unique, powerful, and diverse weapons. Like a colossal bow. Or throwing daggers. A spiked shield. Stuff like that. Second, more lore. More story. But love it.

Frustrating Controls

Without external controls the game can be really annoying.
