Battlevoid: Harbinger is a hard sci-fi space exploration game blending roguelike, turn-based, star map strategy, and real-time space battles. You are a young commander given the task to venture out into enemy territories, far away from home to unknown galaxies, never knowing what you will face as you jump out from hyperspace.
In Battlevoid: Harbinger you will have to make decisions regarding your fleet and equipment, face surprising elements, use the human built Battlestation to your advantage and battle fiercely for survival as you defend humanity. Strategy, tactics, and resource management are the core of Battlevoid: Harbinger. Plan your ship's offenses and defenses. Fortify your ships against enemy weapons, and wield them wisely. Loving this game - exactly what it should be and nothing more. No micro transactions, simple top-down action, tactical and satisfying. All the reasons why FTL is one of the best mobile games ever, this has all of the same simplistic yet challenging awesomeness.
Been playing for years
Every time I play endless mode I go farther and farther, the only minuscule problem is that once you get past a certain point it becomes continuously harder with no new interesting features to back it up. The difficultly is good, even quite challenging but no new weapons or ships as you venture further.
If y’all were to update it my suggestion would be to add weapons, ships and fighters that are extremely rare in the late game but are specifically designed to foil certain play styles. Since you would be so used to waltzing in and destroying everything, you suddenly being stopped in your tracks by one nemesis ship that has exactly what foils your fighter or range based strategy would switch up the game significantly. Probably a way to make nemesis ships actually terrifying enemies, but it’s an old game and you have new cool projects so I have no expectations for you to make new updates.
The game is legendary keep it up. 👍👍👍👍👍
Dungeons to Sectors!
With the search at a finish point, on the rogue-like genre; a 360 degree turn was made in my psyche to something that is all that, but better: The Simulation Genre!
If there is always something lacking to those of you, in the typical Roguelike Genres so far, this will fill the void with the Simulation addition to this genre.
What typical Roguelikes lack in depth, this game excels at it instead; with a never ending sink, into the most comfortable, deep, mindset, I have ever relinquished into with a game that suits any age above the age allowance for the game.
There is no grind, head-ache, annoyances, or even extraneous material here in this game, when it can be cross saved across all devices that matter.
A one of a kind! Smooth enough to get lost into for many hours with the randomized different play-through each time.
Thank you Dev. for conceiving this masterpiece we all can now enjoy, what a joy to play it is!
Very challenging
This game is really well done. Unlike other games where you just run in and kill everything, you actually think about your next move. I do find that while you have a power cap, the enemies don’t and that’s annoying. But a lot of low-skill people won’t even see that problem.
I do think that the OST could use a boost but that’s what iTunes is for
Good game, bad sound design
I want to like this game, I really do. The gameplay is really solid and it’s a good way to waste some time, or a good thing to sit down and spend a few hours on. It’s a shame that the developers decided to make their app block any other music playing on your device. Want to listen to a podcast and play this game? Too bad.
Give me my life back!!!!!
Got it a month ago and have not put it down. The interface is very good and very responsive. Have not had one crash. Game saves and returns where I leave off. Not a glitch. Tons ‘o’ fun for the money. Looking forward to “Seige”
Don't listen to the 5 star reviews
The game is pn't engaging, confusing, and just plane boring. The soundtrack is horrible, the story is lacking and th tutorial is just plain stupid. Don't waste your time with this game, let alone your money.
Yo! Um, real quick
Is there any chance the max. Amount of ships under the Commanders fleet could be changed from 3 to 5? Like I play on never ending mode, and the enemy ships keep spawning in larger numbers, plus that would make things WAY more interesting
Infinite replay ability
Addictive time waster, simple storyline but lots of playable ships/weapons keep it interesting!
Super tactical and deep
Lots of ships and upgrades that actually change the way you play, great gameplay and super tactical. Tons of replay value. This is a gem
