This app was reasonable, but had now fully stopped working, claiming ‘no network’ with full Wifi and 5G signal..

Wonderful having this channel where I can listen to great programs in my home in Liechtenstein and all over the world ! 🙏

This app is alright but I really wish I could search for shows by journalist name. At the moment this does not work (e.g. searching for Marianna Spring only brings up two of the shows she’s in). It would be much easier to find new shows I might like this way.

When I left the UK, I knew I would miss two things: live theatre (Shakespeare mainly) and Radio 4. And now I have it. Irritatingly no longer on the « old » internet radios that were cut off. Obsolescence in all its glory… But I sometimes wonder if I do not feel closer to, and more rewarded by, Today presenters, many of your comedy shows, In Our Time, the Sunday Service and BH. And don’t start ne on the excellence of the World Service.. When commentators complain about bias in the BBC, they reveal their lack of knowledge of any broadcaster abroad. When politicians say the BBC is not worth the licence fee, they again display ignorance about what it is like for the rest of the world. The BBC is fabulous. Cherish it. And thank you.

Living abroad it’s great to access the full breadth of the BBC through this app. And many great shows from years ago as well as the topical shows. Love it! Also easy to find content and it always works!

Doesn’t work in Switzerland!

I am British, I live abroad. There are a number of podcasts I cannot listen too as I am abroad. Don’t forget that there is a huge market outside of the UK too!

Since I don’t live in the UK anymore I’ve really missed the fantastic radio 4. Sounds delivers me wonderful content on demand. The app works all the time every time. The interface is very easy and intuitive

We like very much to listen to BBC news. Every morning, it’s our ritual - but not only - in the kitchen the at breakfast times…
