BBS Network is a public network of interconnected message boards (nostalgically named BBS after the Bulletin Board Systems of the early internet). Each board in the network offers similar functionality to legacy social media applications - create posts, comment and join the discussion, upload videos, live chat, and more - while utilizing a public database which allows each board full autonomy while benefiting from being connected to other communities across the network.
Create a single account which can be used on any board in the network, follow your favorite creators across boards, join the discussion in several communities already created, or create your own and decide how your board will be managed. Each board owner decides their own content policies, moderation, and even how to manage advertisements and their revenue for the board.
BBS Network is here to break up the monopoly of social media. Instead of being owned by a single entity, BBS Network is owned and operated by the members and communities that participate in the network. The future of BBS Network is decided by its members, not a disconnected billionaire.
