Description

Explore 150 chemicals in a virtual lab in the BEAKER app. Add in chemicals, heat it up, and shake your device to start reactions. Pour them out to clean it up. Or team up with your friends to pour chemicals between each other via AirMix™.

Use virtual Match, Lid and Burner to assist your experiment. Or get the extra five tools - Blender, Cooler, Separator, Filter and Meter to do even more complex operations.

Start (tap or hold on chemicals to add)
- CaO + H2O
- K + H2O (fire)
- Na + H2O (fire)
- Al + Br2 (fire)

Ignite (swipe your finger and hold, like striking a match)
- Ignite Mg, C, Al
- Ignite H2 + O2 (explosion)

Heat Up (swipe in from the lower right corner to turn on Burner)
- Boil Water (H2O)
- Heat Fe + HNO3 (color transformation)

Shake (shake to accelerate reactions)
- CuSO4 + H2O + Mg (color transformation)
- AgNO3 + H2O + Cu (precipitation)
- AgNO3 + H2O + NaCl (precipitation)

AirMix* (nearby BEAKERs will pair automatically)
- Pour Na into Cl2 (fire)
- Pour CH3COOH into NaHCO3 + Blue (bubbles)
- Pour NaCl + H2O into AgNO3 + H2O (precipitation)

airmix

my airmix doesnt work on my iphone

weird thing i discovered

molten metals act and look like water. they also never cool down.

Sometimes not very realistic.

You should be able to precipitate silver chloride from a silver nitrate solution by adding HCl, but the silver nitrate just vanishes without a trace? Where are my silver ions? Balance your equations!

Fun little science app

This is not a game! It is a fun experimental science/chemistry app with some really neat little twists. And they collect zero data on you. No Facebook/google raping of your privacy here. My only complaint are the unintuitive UI. Adding stuff is great, simple and encourages just dropping stuff together. But switching to different chemical screens, heaters etc all have little icons that to me had no understandable meaning. Perhaps that is meant to be part of the experimenting? Recommend at only $.99 and no in-app purchases! It is all there.

Seriously. I bought the Siddons a while back and now your telling me there free to others. So I paid just to be told later they would be free. Cmon thix

Bug or unable to cope with thermite

When mixed it is not bad just iron3oxide and aluminium but try to light it or heat it up to start the reaction the app soft locks

A completely useless game. (But interesting)

Great! Except for AirMix not working...

Fantastic app, really! Very good at what it sets out to do. I wish it had the elephant toothpaste reaction :-P However, I was nerdishly excited to try out the AirMix feature to pour into my iPad Pro from my iPod Touch (both latest gen models) and was disappointed to discover that it’s not working. And with the other reviews this seems to be a wider-spread issue than just myself. I would like to purchase the features of the app, but seeing how there hasn’t been an update in eight months, I’m a little hesitant to spend money on something that the developer appears to have abandoned...
