They just want your money
Like every other insurance company, they do anything to take your money. For example, they refuse to provide an EOB that actually tells you what’s covered and what’s not. The EOB you can access on the app is NOT comprehensive. (Fluoride is under preventative services, but what they don’t tell you is that it’s only considered preventative for minors.) It’s hardly realistic to have to call the insurance company and ask about every benefit and what’s covered when you see the dentist because Beam will not be transparent about what they actually cover. It’s just their way of taking your money because something is literally under preventative services but apparently it’s not actually considered preventative.
