Beaver Point

It would seem that no one at Beaver Point reads these reviews nor they care very much for their customers’ concerns. This app is pretty much useless because it doesn’t work very well. What’s the point of buying a Telescope (like in my case) if the app doesn’t work? The telescope needs a working and flawless app. The app certainly doesn’t meet that standard. Please UPDATE app in a meaningful way. Useless updates here and there are not cutting it! REALLY!! If you want loyal customers and expand your business, then you need to provide a reliable app and you need to make a genuine effort to respond to your customers concerns.

The app does not work, the device doesn’t connect. It doesn’t work period

Hey everyone! I normally don’t review apps, so you should know this is special. I, as well as many others it seems, have had issues with the connection of my BeaverLabs device. In my case, my michaelscope was seemingly on the fritz because I followed the instructions perfectly and could still not connect the darn thing to my mobile device. If you are stuck on the “Click on the link WiFi” screen, forget the device’s wifi on your phone and restart both the device itself and your app. After all this I reconnected to the device’s wifi and opened the app. That seemed to work. How you operate the app itself I am merely a novice at. If you need help with that, you’ll need to look inwards. I give this app 3 stars because I like the device itself, but the app makes me want to go to Atlantic City for the rest of the week and really blow off some steam.

My kids were given the TW1 telescope for Christmas. We were exciting to use it but after more than an hour of trying different devices that are all compatible with this app according to the specs stated in the App Store we couldn’t get any of them to connect with the telescope. The phone would connect to the telescope camera but the app would say there was no connection. Very frustrating for me and upsetting for my kids that were looking forward to doing some stargazing.

We got a DDL-TW1 for the holidays and got it all setup, except that nothing connects. I tried two different devices, both were able to connect to the imager, but then going back to the app shows that it’s not connected to anything. Even more infuriating because the telescope *CAN ONLY BE USED WITH THE APP*!

Can’t even open it. It says loading then it just crashes. Please fix this, the telescope is useless with out the app. It worked fine until 2 days ago when you did your last update, 2.7 July 27 2023

Worked great for a few times and now the app won’t even open, uninstall and reinstall still crashes before it opens. That’s why I buy off Amazon, when’s it ends up being garbage like this just return no questions asked

I purchased Zhiyiyoupin Visual Blackhead absorber DZ-S1 where it was showing in older versions of the app and now it’s just gone!! Please add it back as the item is useless without the app for that!! Thanks

Update: PLEASE update APP soon. Right now the App crashes every time I try to view my pictures and videos. I no longer have access to them because the app keeps on crashing. What’s the point of having this telescope if we’re not able to view or access the photos or videos. Very disappointed now.
