Aimless

Dystopias are supposed to have a point. This is just about making friends and killing them off for career advancement. You’re going to get arrested before anything meaningful happens. Don’t bother. At least with Beholder 1 there was a goal, even if you couldn’t actually get to it: leave the country with your family. Here, its just endless bizarre bureaucracy and increasingly distasteful death sequences. Ugh.

Awesome!!!

Nothing like the first game, or blissful sleep. Gameplay completely different, it’s not so much about the choices you make and just doing the tasks. I loved the first game so much, and I’ve been waiting for 2-3 years to get this game and when I finally did… I haven’t even made it to the second floor and I dk if I will I’m so bored of this game already. Just a major downgrade from the original. If I could get a refund I prob would. Since I can’t I’ll just give it a break for a few years and see if it gets better with time

Lost two days worth of progress

I enjoyed the theme and story of this game very much. Unfortunately it crashed and I lost all the hard earned progress I build over two days. This was just so disheartening and unbelievable. If this game could autosave correctly this would be an amazing experience. This fiasco ruined it for me and I don’t think I will be playing for awhile. Absolutely disappointing and hopefully it will improve.

The first one is better.

This one has a cool look and more in-depth tasks but the maneuvering is more difficult and it takes so much time to get from one place to another. The first one is an amazing game, it’s hard to beat, so this one still gets 5 stars.

Gets old fast

I can’t believe I once thought this was better than the original. The traveling back and forth between work and home is tedious, and the tasks aren’t much better. One or two gameplays and it becomes too much.

The original was SO GOOD. This one bored me pretty quickly. I think they tried to make up for the boredom by adding in traveling and extra scenes, but these just increased it for me. I’m all for you coming up with another one that’s more similar to the original. Maybe try to make it more present day or something.

Great Story!

I really liked beholder so when beholder 2 came out I got it instantly. It has such a rich story and the gameplay is always exciting because there are so many ways to play. I have already completed the game twice trying different choices each time. I would definitely recommend this game!

Excellent til BRICK WALL of clone game

So well done, so thoughtful, funny, well-written. EXCEPT when you get to the mini-game on Floor 25 that you *must* play to make money. The game just lurches to a halt as you scroll up and down trying to match things, not too much, not too little, but enough to not have to endure this exercise FOREVER. Ho-lee cow, what a literal kill joy. I do not think I will be playing any more.

Good

It is a great game but you need to dial it back when you have to pay your rent in this game
