Clunky. Skip it and buy the book.
I bought this because I was going to Belize and had really liked the save developer’s Costa Rica bird app when I birded there in ‘16. This one is not worth buying. It is clunky to use to search by name or family, has questionable range info and very little useful info on the birds, often without adequate pics of sex and age I needed. The index on the left, even on my big iPhone, often skips you out of where you are abc it’s very difficult to navigate back. More trouble than it’s worth. But the book and skip the app. Or use Cornell’s Merlin “explore birds” function.
