Overpriced for what it tracks
the tracker is not accurate. It doesn’t track sleep accurately. (I suspected it & used another device) It doesn’t track my activity on rowing machine … It’s just a very expensive step counter

Silly app only gives me the option to pair/sync Ivy. Which is not the device I have.
I have had my device for over a year and have had to delete and reinstall several times It says the battery is flat, then delete app and it’s 100% I have had 3 devices now as they keep failing and i get a new one Since latest install it’s now saying it can’t find my device even though it’s right next to it and on charge I go to sync the day and it can’t find or it does and then loads no steps at all It’s also annoying that the button to manually enter sleep looks like it’s inactive as it’s greyed out Overall bad app experience and only stick with it as it’s good for sensitive skin and can’t wear an apple watch
Had to turn off all notifications as I couldn’t find a way to limit them to only things I wanted to be alerted to. It was literally pushing out a notification every minute. I wish I could add a photo to this review to show just how annoying it was being, literally so many alerts that you learn to ignore them all. Not even close to motivating, just infuriating.
The app crashes regularly and has now started doing it during meditation. Super annoying. I’ve found that it crashes almost every time I use it.
I use the Bellabeat as a step counter only and have no interest at all in the stupid wellness feature, which only serves to highlight what I haven't done in a day. If there's a way to turn it off (which there should be!) then I can't find it. Seriously considering throwing the tracker away because I hate this update so much.
I was disappointed to realise it didn’t detect 1 hour of my rowing on the machine. Also doesn’t detect sleep patterns. Now I have to manually input activities. It’s just a fancy step counter :(
I’ve used this app for years and I fall asleep to the meditations most nights. I got a brand new phone upgrade and suddenly all the meditations are only accessible with a subscription.
I like my leaf, and I have the Spring as well, so it’s nice that it tracks my sleep, activity and water intake. I paid for the Bellabeat coach, and was a little disappointed with some of it. So here are the things I think could be improved: 1. The meals are good, but I can’t see more than today’s meals, and sometimes it might have something like ‘overnight oats’ for breakfast, but I can’t make that the night before because I can’t see the meals that are up tomorrow (or the rest of the week). It would be really great to always have a weekly overview of upcoming meals 2. The meditation/mindfulness sessions in the regular tracking section are great, but it would be really nice if the meditation sessions in the coach section would also be tracked, so you don’t have to add it in yourself. 3. It would be great if the workouts in the coach section were tracked as well. I.e. if you start a workout, it will log it as ‘barre’ or ‘Pilates’ without you having to add it in. 4. The articles on health and well-being are a good idea, but often a little too simplistic, and need to be proof-read more thoroughly as there are often grammar and spelling mistakes. I don’t think it’s really worth it to pay for the coach functionality unless these things are sorted out, as it doesn’t really give you that much added benefit over the free version
I have so much love for my leaf ❤️ BUT I also have some suggestions! It would be great if you could log excersise in blocks, like; 20 laps (swimming), 30min Personal Training, 5km walk/run etc... as the leaf is not waterproof so you can’t wear it all the time like you would a normal fitness tracker. Also, I would use the meditation feature more if a notification popped up to remind me to meditate (which I know seems silly - but when we’re so busy we need a slap in the face!!!) opposed to just a vibrate on the leaf. Just a few suggestions... otherwise I love it!!!👏
